Really can't wait to get season 26 out the way so we can get going already!

I suppose it might increase my interest in the NRL from near zero to a bit, as I'll actually have a team to barrack for. Maybe if we do well I'll get into it, but given it'll be a new franchise we'll probably struggle for awhile.

Dolphins are a stand alone team in a die-hard rl area.
Bears are more like the Swans, transplanted and hoping to grow a following on expats
though they shouldn't have to contend with a hostile press like the Swans.

Im stoked with the recruiting so far

Toby Sexton is a bargain and no idea how he got dropped out of the NRL this season. Curran exactly the type of workhorse we need as well as Liam Henry. Sean Russell as well is a great all rounder. Today we then grabbed Wishart and Meaney who are fantastic signings too. Really like Wishart who I think can excel at half back if given the chance. From here Im expecting Tino to sign on for sure.

I am, went for Newcastle after they were shut down but I live in Sydney and my connection with Newcastle has been on the wane for several years now.

It's been really good timing for me that the Bears are back.

A small number maybe. i know of people who switched to the Swans full-time rather than adopt a new NRL team..

Yeah I read that too. It wouldn't surprise me if he requested that role and we just gave him whatever he wanted

I'm not too fussed in that sense

I reckon Papenhuyzen will be a chance. 1 year deal on insane money will win him over which can easily be done
