I've slightly changed it for ya all, I don't want to gloat to much from the other side of the fence, If anyone can came up with anything creative to reflect the clubs position I'll gladly change it again for ya or the OP gaskin could do it too.
Haha it's perfect for now mate, cheers!

Pretty good squad. I would like some more CB cover in case of last season repeating.

Perth remains a revolving door for has been A-League players.

O'Neill, Amini, Risdon... who is next? Mitch Nichols and Rostyn Griffiths again?
Don’t say it too loud or Berisha will start appearing at the door

Last year was 22 points -23 GD from 27 games. This year 2 points -20 from 8.

So on track for 7 points -68 GD, assuming it's still a 27 game season with Fotbull Kungz 2.0 now in the comp.

I've been down on the recruiting for a while now. Why are the club bringing back 30 year old O'Neill after how he left, 32 year old Risdon etc? Last year they brought in Bruce Kamau who has done nothing for years, before that Mustafa Amini hadn't done much and has done nothing since joining, Sturridge what a joke (And they let Castro go! And yes I know he was old but he played more games at 39 than Sturridge did at all.). Players just seem to come in on 2, 3 year deals then within a year they just walk out. Fornaroli, Ryan Williams, O'Neill... how many players fall out with management? The club needs to grow a spine and stop letting players Rostyn Griffiths their way in and out every other week.

With the exception of Taggart last year, Perth hasn't had a player in the PFA team of the year since the 2018/19 season when it was Lowry, Davidson, Kilkenny, Castro, Ikonomidis and Reddy. I feel for Taggart. He is a genuine quality player in the A-League still in his prime and every other aspect of the club is a dumpster fire around him.

The club really needs to sort out the off field first. The COVID years were brutal on Glory and that can't be underestimated but people aren't going to come back to HBF Park to watch 4-0 losses to Newcastle, and good players aren't going to sign when there is a new manager every year and the only time the team is in the news is due to ownership gossip and tax bills.

Do we have enough players left to field a team, seems like every day another player or 2 leave.
Amini gone and club not expanding on what's going on,he was a complete waste of time and money.

See coaches with Z in their name that coach Glory suck.

Sucks to be sacked after just round two but he was pushing sh!t up hill from the start it was never gonna work in Perth with an unproven manager.
I don’t really understand why they waited two games. Would it not have been better to do it prior to the season? Like if you are gonna give him another chance, you’d give him more than two games? Just seemed like a waste of time.

Exactly

Should’ve got the ass at the end of last season.
New coach could’ve had an entire pre season under his belt and brought in his own players

Perhaps they gave him a target on style of play or points but they couldn’t really expect such a drastic turnaround after the season last year. Even if he had a full pre-season.

You need to remember he didn't get much of a pre-season last year to work with the squad because of the whole fiasco around recruiting and bringing in players. He didn't have much time to work with them. I do think it would have been harsh to give him the arse without giving him a chance to spend a pre-season working with them.

But then you give him a pre-season and sack him after two games? Seems like a pointless decision if you weren’t gonna at least give him 8 games minimum.

With no signs of improvement it is better to go now while finals are not out of the equation and the new coach will have basically a whole season to try to get there.
