Just got back from a week in Perth. Awesome trip, unigames is incredible.

But geez isnt this city just ful of lads. Rats tails, shitty souped up cars everywhere, half the people at the beach going nowhere near the water. Hell the graffiti scratched into the window was 'WRX.'

And yet there is a much better ratio of attractive - normal women than elsewhere? Do the Perth girls just love the lads?

That's what i was thinking when i went there. better than melbourne.

Perth is a hole.(mainly northbridge, but still it is a hole)

I've never heard the term lad used in that sense before.. but yes there certainly are a lot of deros around and females (mostly younger mind you) seem to love it for reasons that cannot be explained.

Yes, from what I've noticed there is an increasing number of ********s - mostly male. Females are also self centered and drenched in fake tan and makeup. It feels like a mission nowadays to be able to find decent people you can talk to. Although, I'm guessing this may be the same in other places rather than just Perth.

perth needs something phenomenal to remove the shitness from it. only thing that gives it the positive points is the summer and beaches but without daylight savings its blown to smithereens.

The city is being upgraded, I noticed a few new shopping areas are being built. Also there is that stadium under construction as well as the NB development. Couple of big buildings too. Still we are miles behind other cities.

Love Perth and really do think it is one of the best cities in the world to live in. Whilst I do agree there is lots of people driving around in bogan cars most of the owners are harmless and just buy them because they can.

By far the best part of Perth is exactly that, the people, can walk around most places at night and feel completly safe especially in entertainment prestincts were it is very rare to witness, let alone get involved in a fight and none of the ethnic gangs which seems to have inflitrated parts of Sydney/Melbourne have much influence in the west.

Probelm is when winter comes the city stops. For 3 months there is nothing to do but when summer comes along there is no were I'd rather be then in Perth.

When was the last time you went out? I never feel safe in Northbridge (I try not to go there, but its hard when you want a late night feed other than maccas) Absolutely disgusting place filled with bogans looking for a fight and dirty girls shouting out abuse to people walking past. It's horrible. There have been so many fights and assaults involving knives, glasses even concrete slabs. The CBD is a much better place to go out and I feel much safer there but it still isn't d*ckhead-free.

Haven't been to Northbridge central for over a year, but when I use to go there reguarly it was alright, I was certainly not worried about getting attacked or anything. 'The libary' still goes alright though.

Agreed the CBD is much better, don't bother going anywhere else because simply no where else is as good. Heeps better crowd in the city and the clubs have a much better vibe to them with decent standards which relegates all the idiots to Northbridge.

Just like all cities Perth has it's crappy areas and so long as you avoid a few select suburbs generally it's quite safe.

Walking around northbridge is nowhere near as bad as the media etc says. If youre walking around and mind your own business you'll be fine. Been into northbridge plenty of times and never had trouble. There are plenty of bogans dero's etc there though

I've never had any issues in Northbridge and never felt unsafe.

I feel safest in northbridge. Subi is the most dangerous place imo.
