he was two pitch lengths outside off when he was struck.

I certainly wouldn't have appealed.

Care to have reasons to back them up?
Agree on Clark but Siddle has just as much talent if not more than the other bowlers you've listed.

Tait can bowl the ball fast and people cream themselves over it. He'll get wickets in ODI cricket like that, but in Test Cricket people can wait for the bad ones and belt him.
some of us believe in sportsmanship.

Getting MOTM in only your fourth test match (and 17th first class match) is a pretty fair effort.
Finished the match with figures of 53.5-23-113-8, which is outstanding by anyones standards.
Above that, his enthusiasm and heart are there for all to see.
He never stops working hard and never stops encouraging his teammates, which is a vital, if undervalued, trait.
He's copped a lot of criticism over the past couple of months, but he's answered it all brilliantly, which shows a lot of character.
He's still got a long way to go before becoming a genuine test bowler, but with more experience and some luck with injury, all the signs are there to suggest he's going to become a quality international cricketer over a long period of time.
Well done, Sids.
)I just hope he gets fit because he'll be devestating when he does. I mean fit fit. The good thing is he mentioned that himself so at least he's aware of it. At the moment he's a bit like a Darren Gough. Very talented but could drop a stone in weight. And IMO it hampered Gough's career because he never did anything about it.
Guaranteed that the coaching staff are all over him about it.
His bowling improved just in the span of the 3 tests. If he keeps his head screwed on he is going to be good.
As has been said before it looks very much like selectors 1 : BigFooty plonkers 0.

The BF experts will never agree with this, because he is a Victroian, and doesn't get as much hype as Johnson. But I am certain he will be our best bowler by 2011.Always been a fan.
He is your best bowler. Better than Johnson.
Agree with this. Has a lot of potential, and undeniable passion.
