Of course he is biased, no more biased than Eddie, or any other media personality who has an AFL side they either support or played for.

Totally agree. Don't know how he gets a gig, but at the end of the day he doesn't affect the result.

Ahh he's not that bad, no worse than any of the other special comments guys when their team is playing, he knows the vast majority of the opposition players too, which is rare for a 'single state' based commentator, something Eagles fans have had to put up with for years.

But I'm bias, he's an all time favourite of mine.

Every commentator under the sun does it. For us its a novelty to find commentators who've actually heard of any of the Eagles squad other than Judd, Cousins and Gardiner.

He is very much symbolic of WA football media. Full of ex-weagles & Eagle fans who don't know a thing about football outside of Subaico Oval.

Honestly as much as I hate him Eddie isn't half as biased as majority of WA sports media.

That's an interesting comment and there is some background to how it came about. Apparently when the Eagles were on an end of season trip to the US many years ago when Wilson was still playing some of the boys nicknamed him that after a cartoon character of the same name. Word was that Wilson was very ******** face about the whole thing and let it be known. I'm told that the likeness is very real.

It would be all right if he was a decent commentor but like
Kempy before him he is not just biased but very average IMO.

The way he communicates you can also see why he never made it as a coach

I was also watching a classic quarter on foxtel, WC v Saints at telstra dome in 2000 i think. Woosha was commentating and was actually quite good
