Opinion Petition for a new logo?

Hi all,

catching a lot of us noise about Crows supporters starting to get sick of seeing our ridiculous logo. I feel like it’s a great time to shake things up, especially as we are entering a new era as a footy club and in general life (COVID).

What style of logo would we be after as a club?

Could a petition kick the club into thinking about the possibility?

I've honestly just never seen a good update to this logo though...

I reckon a contemporary redraw of this would be ideal.
Keep the same basic structure but cleaner lines and more streamlined wings.

I just hate how the current logo sits on club merch. Puts me off buying a polo or jumper simply because I can’t stand looking at it.

Has long been my opinion that as bad as the current logo is, I don't want a new one until I can buy a MLB style cap with the awesome feathery A from our logo on it. The 'Adelaide Crows' lettering is by far the best part of the logo (not saying much, given our royal blue raven) but the club has never utilised it .

Just went through all clubs (except Fitzroy and University) logos.

Lets do a tier list IMO (Ordered within the tiers by when they came out)

A - St Kilda
B - Sydney, Fremantle, Collingwood
C+ - Greater Western Sydney, Carlton
C- - Adelaide, Brisbane, Gold Coast, West Coast
D+ - Essendon, Geelong, Richmond, Western Bulldogs, North Melbourne
D- - Port Adelaide
F - Hawthorn, Melbourne


Or if you want it in another form

1. St Kilda

3. Collingwood
4. Fremantle
daylight

5. Carlton
6. Greater Western Sydney

I'd say only 6 clubs' fan should like their logo. While everyone else should be demanding the club change theres.

Though, even if I were a Fremantle fan I'd get rid of "Fremantle Dockers" below the shield. That's 1 easy change to go from 4 to 2 and be before the first daylight.

Strange ranking. Having Carlton, GWS and Gold Coast so high, but Hawthorn, Bulldogs and Richmond so low

Richmond's logo is awesome, the best in the league. Hawthorn the worst? They're in the top 6 for logo surely, aside from the colors, but that's their brand

Gold Coast's is horrible. Carlton since they returned to the historic bent-C is also one of the worst in the league, the proper curved-C logo was way better

From 7 down it's all the cartoon looking logos (plus the attempts to combine history with modern trends which ****ed up like Port and Melbourne, and the outdated Essendon)
It's just what order do I prefer them in

Our club is just so behind the times with these things. Everything in the design world has gone back to flat, minimalist designs. Which our original logo is perfect for. Yet we're still rolling with a logo that looks more dated after 10 years than our old one did in 20.
