WCE new training facility was 6 years once the site was agreed upon. September 2013 to July 2019 for plan, build, handover.

Planning approval 2016.

We are yet to secure a site and far from planning stage.

I doubt we move into the new facility before 2025. Maybe 2026 preaseason.

Yeah that's the timeline, 2024. They get an answer on the tender for Brompton by 31/12
Handover 2024?

Impressive.

Means they must have the full planning/design locked in, pending approval.

Risky when you don't know which site we will be at.

I imagine that’s part of the pitch.

Crows option is complete by end of 2024.

Developers still trying to get enough sales to satisfy funding by that point. Le Cornu site all over again.

Silvers has said they've got full plans done for both sites so dont know what the risk is, its either of 2 locations.

As for leaning to it being Thebby, given they know nothing of the other tenders they wouldnt know that.

Bit of a waste in architecture fees.

Be a couple of hundred grand for a set of plans not used

Maybe I miss heard then.

Would it be that much though? You in the industry?
Not in the industry, but have been part of a couple of projects to build similar public buildings.

I would be surprised if they had two sets of plans, ready for council approval.
