This is dexter the cat also known as poo's

n608660806_1281569_1538.jpg

dexter reminds me of one of our cats, Mischka (aka Mischkimoo). She had that face mask look about her too. She was quite a hunter.

We catnapped her from her owner (who didn't look after her) when she was a kitten. She died about 2 years ago. She was about 20.

Dexter is one cute feline.

My Bonnie isn't her usual self so a trip to the Vet is on the cards this week. She's got the whines up about the same time it started to rain last week big time. Also lets out a yelp when she flops down or gets up. She will be 12 in July and I'm thinking it's her age, arthritis playing up due to dampness in the air due to the rain or something else, or all of the above. Fingers crossed.

Trouble is a trip to the Vet means I take the both of them as you guys would hear Clyde crying if I left him by himself the big baby.

dex the puppy above looks quiet unusual to the normal Border Collie but with those baby blue eyes he could have any girl he wants.

mandy the lab looks in really good nick @ 11 yo.well looked after.

our dex the cat is a really good hunter always bringing in things like lizards not so much birds anymore.but awhile ago l found a few dead birds behide the garage looks like her and the other cat betty have been having fun.

:D:D He's one big mumma's boy.

Thanks guys. Will keep you posted.

We had a very short walk this morning as Bonnie was dragging her tail so to speak but she wanted her "outing".

Weeeellll we're chilling out in the air con after the Vet visit. It's been stinko hot and humid here when it's not been raining which has been a contributor to the lethargy of my dogs as well as the others up here. The moisture has been a contributor to Bonnie's arthritis. Going by the local rag it was 37 here y'day with 90 odd percent humidity. ****!!

Not great news to be honest. Have been given some arthritic medicine for Bonnie and I will monitor her status for the next two weeks to see if any improvement. But, the Vet was concerned about some lumps in her Lymph glands, the word Lymphoma :thumbsd: was brought up.:( Sooooooooo hopefully things will improve but I'm not holding my breath.

And, Clyde did suck it up, to a point, when his front claws had a bit of a clip. Not impressed but got over it.

sorry l put a vid link up of my other pussy doing the great escape out the closed window.l thought naughty people could see all my fb shite and frape my account.l'll try another way but my gf del it from her phone grrr.

We all wish well for Bonnie Gabbie ;)

Hasn't been all that pleasant around here for past couple weeks with four legged loved ones has it :/

Thanks Dan

No it hasn't been good for the four legged buddies but in footy talk, we're taking it one day at a time. Bonnie still wanted to come along for the early morning walk today, at her slow pace, so while her tail was wagging in anticipation, why not, trouble was on the way back, it started to rain big time so the three of us were drenched by the time I got back, towell rub down, a treat and now they're snoozing.

Yeah that was little odd

Anyways.....

Jack's still got the plastic collar on and looks like he'll have it for another week maybe two. Infection in his foot is getting better but not entirely healed. However the Vet tells me he now has some sort of infection in his left ear.

Nothing major though, he'll be fine.

Good to hear Dan. Poor Jack, being a young dog and ACTIVE it must be really annoying him wearing that collar.

Had a chuckle walking my two when I spotted a neighbour with their 7 month old Dalmation being walked by the husband. She was all over the place and he, a big bloke. seemed to be struggling handling her, hee hee thought me, I've got two by myself though lucky for me they aint youngsters.

Hope Jack and Bonnie are better soon guys. All well with here, although we are a little worried by Marvin, it seams he may be going deaf, doesn't respond to sounds every time unless they are quite loud, it's really hard to tell how bad it is because he takes cues from Archie. He also barks a lot more than usual, not loud barks, but often it seams like he is barking at nothing. Otherwise he seems fine and happy.

Oh ok, thought you didn't know that given TT swept up the mess pretty quickly.

Saw three or four posts last night when I checked in for a few minutes, thought they were strange and wondered if they were going anywhere:confused:. The spam post from TT just confirmed what I thought.

It's not a great feeling when your pet is in pain and you can only massage them and reassure them. Poor Bonnie's arthritis is kicking in, even though I am giving her some meds but come humidity or rain and she is feeling it. Is snoozing now but earlier was wimpering and struggled to get up, poor old thing. Another Vet visit coming up. There is also the lump in lymp glands issue.

I'm hoping against all hope the vet can come through with stronger meds but if she's going to be in pain...going to be a long hard week. phew.
