There is always much debate about how useless Petiffer actually is,

However Pettifer was a high draft pick and in my opinion we have to try and get something out of him or at least increase his trade value.

Although he has his faults and is soft, when he does play he gets limited ground time and has to play in the completely disfuctional Richmond Forward line. Who can blame him if he find its hard with scrubber kicks and flooded forward 50's.

I'm not try to completely defend him, but why not put him in the forward line and leave him there for a couple of games. If he dosen't perform then we will be under no illusions and let him be traded/delisted. I would just like to see him get a proper crack in the seniors and allow for our awful gameplans

IMO he has had plenty of time to have a crack.

We gave Pettifer plenty of opportunities.

He was positive in the Wiz Cup but only in the first few minutes of each game.

Another chance? Well maybe.. If we did Id like to see him in the midfield right at the start of the game.

Should probably be brought into the side this week and I would like to see him start up forward. He's still only 22 compared to Houlihan 26 and Rogers around 30 the two guys he's likely to be competing with for a spot in the senior side. I'd definetly rather us play Pettifer and hope he can develop into at least an adequate league footballer.

I wasn't kidding when I said he should be our full-forward this week. A decision has got to be reached by the club whether he will ever play to his potential. Give him a fair chance to show what he can or can't do by putting him centre stage instead of on the flanks doing bit parts.
He came to the club with impressive credentials as a classy forward. Time to put him to the sword, and time for Kayne to show why he was an early draft pick.

My point was the chances he has had are small stints in our completely disfunctional forward line.

Pettifer probably is a dud, but he obviously has some skill and I would like to see him get a few full games to finally prove whether he can play or not.
