i never wanted him dropped however he was bordlerine for a while... always thought he was our best tagger with mcveigh, he has added a different dimension to his game now i think. great game, couldnt ask for more..

i agree, i thought he was borderline last year and the year before, and at the start of the year thought he was pretty much only a tagger, but now he's pretty much a midfielder lol

Pev was awesome today, killed dal santo. Apparantly Sheedy cut up a tape of the way Judd and Cousins do their hard gut running and gave it to Pev told him to go away have a look and get his hard running to that level if he wanted to survive. He looks good this year
Four good games now so for the 70 % of people yes time to eat your words. As soon as he plays a bad game the knives will be back out because he is not a Hird he is a battler. Like I have said before 22 Peverills and you wouldn't lose a game.

Pev was great today. I still worry about his disposal sometimes but when he's racking up 30+ possies I'm not gonna complain too much!

Don't think I asked for him to be dropped though I struggled pre season to put him in my best 22.
Been great. His kicking hasn't bothered me at all (playing with Watson helps) and he's just racking it up.

He wasn't great last year but to his credit is flying this year, not only getting it a lot and using well but getting in and under at times as well, but providing a lot of run and linking up well, he times his runs to the wings beautifly, not even close to being dropped atm

Probably has JJ to thank for having a spot in the side.
His kicking is still a concern but the thing he's done much better than the last two years is his stopping his opponent and finding the footy.
He's been much better defensively, just needs to finish around goals.

We have a few of them at the minute despite having the greatest attacking record currently. Lovett and Davey have both been poor finishing at times and it was only a week ago Lucas amassed a grand 5 behinds!

am i the only one that has seen an improvement in his kicking
his finishing is average around goal, but his kicks to leads have improved drasticaly

I've noticed an improvement.
He's really stepped up in the absence of JJ and become one of our best midfielders.

AS the team continues to improve, so will individual attributes. Otherwise, Peverill has done all the right things from a team perspective. He's earnt his spot and rightfully recognised for it.

Even when we do get our best 22 on the park, i think he should be in it. It's pretty good how he can stop his oppenent whist getting so much of the ball, the only thing he needs to get right is his kicking and he'd be awesome, but he's kicking is alright at the moment, well better than last year.
