Pfeiffer ?

Hey guys I have had Pfeiffer warming the bench in my dream team for the last couple of weeks, but due to injuries I have to make a couple of trades, so Im just after a bit of local info.
Didn't really catch at the time why he was dropped was it due to injury, matchups, or poor form (which I didn't think was to bad).
I see he has been named as an emergency this week but am just wondering if hes a chance and if not this week what about next, I have to make some changes as none of my reserves are getting games at the mo but I can probably hang on to him if he is likely to come back in soon.

P.S. Good luck for the game on the weekend...... you're going to need it.

He's playing very good footy for the Ants, and I'd imagine he was very close to getting a game. That said, could be a few weeks before he's in depending on injuries, so I'd recommend to trade him out (will be doing the same this week).

Trade him out for perhaps a player like N.Brown (Collingwood) or if you have some spare money lying around perhaps a trade for either Mundy or even Osbourne, both are capable of his scores and both are relatively cheap.

Tough one,

If you really need someone to play this week trade him.....but if you can wait I'd keep him for next week.

He's been in pretty good form and should be getting a few more games this season.

Cheers RiCHii, yep I think I might have to trade him but I have stuff all money, so can only trade for a player of the same value, which would be a waste if he comes back in next week. I also have Roger Hayden who is going to be out for 3 or 4 weeks so am trying to decide which one to trade and which one to leave on the bench, might be better to trade both for a couple of players that are at least getting games.

Charbzilla - Point taken, suppose it is a question more relevant to the dream team forum, I didn't think it would upset too many people.... but there's always one.

what do you know about james edwards? is he likely to play down back for the rest of the season now that jamison is injured?

It has been suggested here that Jake might play down back and I see no real reason why we wouldn't give it a go. Ideally I see him as a good big body capable of taking a strong grab up forward. He's mobile and an okay kick. Just needs some confidence and of course some game time wouldn't hurt. Don't think he's injured atm, he kicked 3 or 4 goals in the magoos the other week. I'm a fan but I guess the jury is still out.
