I haven't made my mind up on where Butcher will go yet, I can still see West Coast or Sydney taking him so Port will be settling for Panos if that turns out to be the case.

Why does everyone think Carlton needs another KPF !? people do know they got Henderson right ? He will be their FF for the future, and a gun at that.

Henderson might be used in defence, I mean, he IS a defender. Also, teams usually prefer settling with 2-3 tall KPFs and thus I have them selecting Carlisle as he'd be a suitable Fevola replacement. Don't know about you but it seems logical to me.

Henderson isn't a defender. He was forced into playing as a defender as the Lions had Brown, Bradshaw and Mitch Clark. He played the majority of his junior footy at either CHF or FF.

There's a position called CHF that Carlton lack desperately. And before you say "But Kreuzer and Cloke..." they are both ruckmen who can go forward and kick a goal. Besides, Cloke is only ever going to be a good VFL player. They need someone to help out an untried young KPF. Carlisle would be perfect, or even Talia.

Exactaly, this is why I have them taking Carlisle. Some may argue Talia would be a better choice but he's more of a defender and Carlisle is a much better forward in my opinion. I also think Carlton's defence is ready and set with KPDs like Jamison, Waite, Austin and Bower in line.

Get a clue !!! He isn't a defender. He is a forward !!! always was a forward !! only got games with the lions in defense because its hard to move Bradshaw or Brown to make way for him.
He is a key forward with 2 years development in him. Why would the blues go and draft another skinny forward to replace Fev when the have Hendo ready to step in and play 18-22 games from the goal square next season !
I think the blues might still draft a tall, but to say they are drafting a Fev replacment is just stupid and shows no knowledge of what they got during the trade week. Pretty sure Ratten even said they will be playing Hendo forward next year and are wrapped to get him to replace Fev. If they go tall, im pretty sure it will be a utility type that could go back or forward. Dont think Hendo has the speed to play defense and cover the leagues good forwards.

Regardless, knob, Henderson IS a defender as he showed during the games he played. Sure, it might not be his actual position but as long as he can play it, he's a defender and can be used in defence. Also, since when was he ever a Fev replacement? I see him as more of an athletic overhead as opposed to the strong lead-up forward Fev is. Regardless, I still have Carlton choosing another forward because they needed another forward even with Fevola.

Simon Prestigiacomo was drafted as a KP forward too. Ditto Ben Rutten and Brian Lake from memory.
