Western Bulldogs
Pick 1: GWS - Tom Boyd - Eastern Rangers - 200cm - 103kg

Tall forward who cuts an imposing figure on the ground. A powerful player with excellent leg speed who is a long, accurate set shot for goal. Attacks the footy in the air and marks strongly overhead. Protects the drop zone well through excellent body use and reads the flight of the ball. Earned All-Australian honours in 2013. Plenty of talk about this pick being traded - but there is no way GWS will trade off this mountain of a forward. Lock him in.

Pick 2: GWS (Received from Melbourne for Dom Tyson)- Josh Kelly - Sandringham Dragons - 183cm - 75kg

Medium midfielder who is an elite kick on his preferred left foot. Shows composure beyond his years and has excellent endurance. Brilliant in his decision-making and reads the game well. Provides excellent run and carry with the ability to kick long goals. Earned All-Australian honours in 2013. SOS loves him and GWS will take another smooth moving midfielder.

Pick 3: St.Kilda - James Aish - Norwood - 184cm - 75kg

A smooth-moving medium midfielder with excellent disposal on both sides of his body by hand or foot. A prolific winner of the ball with rare game sense. His decision-making and composure under pressure are outstanding. Won dual All Australian honours at Under-18 level. Probably best midfielder in draft. Saints won't skip on him here despite rumours he will slide to 6.

Pick 4: Western Bulldogs - Jack Billings - Oakleigh Chargers - 184cm - 78kg

Medium forward with rare kicking ability on his preferred left foot. Has strong hands overhead and is dangerous either in the air or at ground level. His ability to read the ball off hands is excellent, as is his awareness and vision. Can also play through the midfield. Dual All Australian in 2012-13.

Pick 5: Gold Coast - Kade Kolodjashnij - Launceston - 190cm - 81kg

Athletic tall who accumulates the footy. His athleticism allows him to cover the ground with ease and provide his team with fantastic rebound off half-back. A smart user of the ball on his preferred left foot. Joint winner of the Division 2 Harrison Medal, as well as earning All Australian honours.

Pick 6: Collingwood - Nathan Freeman - Sandringham Dragons - 182cm - 85kg

Medium midfielder who accumulates possessions at will. A genuine clearance specialist who continually puts himself in the right place to find the ball. Has a quick and explosive change of direction and distributes effectively by hand and foot.

Pick 7: Brisbane Lions - Matthew Scharenberg - Glenelg - 190cm - 87kg

Tall defender/forward with strong hands overhead. Brilliant in his game sense and reading of the play and makes good decisions by hand or foot. Shows great composure when in possession and rebounds effectively from defence. Agile player who earned back-to-back All Australian honours in 2012-13.

Pick 8: North Melbourne - (F/S) - Luke McDonald - Werribee - 188cm - 85kg

Hard-running, medium defender with good leg speed and a thumping left-foot kick. Has developed the ability to push into the midfield where his precision kicking can hurt opposition teams when he delivers inside 50. An All Australian at the 2012 NAB AFL Under 18 Championships.

Pick 9: Melbourne (Received from GWS as part of Dom Tyson trade) - Ben Lennon - Northern Knights - 188cm - 77kg

Medium forward who is an outstanding overhead mark and user of the ball by either hand or foot. Tracks the ball brilliantly in the air, but is just as clean and competitive at ground level. Earned All Australian honours in 2013. Graduate of the AIS AFL Academy.

Pick 10: Collingwood - Marcus Bontempelli - Northern Knights - 192cm - 83kg

A tall who can play forward, back or through the midfield. Possesses a raking left foot that can penetrate the lines. A rangy player with good agility, excellent endurance and durability. He makes good decisions with his disposal, reads the play well and has good vision. Mobile, he has clean hands and the ability to play either tall or small.

Pick 11: West Coast - Dom Sheed - Subiaco - 184cm - 83kg

Medium midfielder who is a prolific ball winner. His work rate is excellent, as is his ability to win his own ball. Makes good decisions either by hand or on his preferred left foot. Can play outside or inside and is good around stoppages. Winner of the Larke Medal and All-Australian honours.

Pick 12: Richmond - Lewis Taylor - Geelong Falcons - 173cm - 73kg

Small midfielder/forward with excellent agility and disposal by foot on either side of his body. Has the ability to break the lines with his explosive leg speed and ability to take the game on and can be dangerous around goals. Won All Australian honours in 2013.

Pick 17: Fremantle - Jonathan Marsh - East Fremantle - 192cm - 87kg

Tall forward who is a strong mark overhead and good on the lead. Strong set shot for goal and shows agility and skill with snaps for goal. Deceptively quick on the lead and an imposing target on the burst. Kicked 10 goals in five matches for SA in NAB AFL Under-18 Championships.

Not a bad phantom. Not sure about the last few but would be interested to see you 2nd round selections.

As a Blueboy I'd be happy with Crouch at 13. Wouldn't be unhappy if we took Marsh tbh - looks a goer but we need a young gun mid first and foremost.

Lot of interest to see where Thorp finishes up - I'd certainly take him at 51 or 69.

Not bad but Carvarra is no certaintly to get drafted let alone go 1st round. Harvey would have also put a lot of clubs off by his horrendous beep 10.3 and 3km at 14:48

would be amazing if we got pick 14 and 18 but highly unlikely also im sure we would take mccarthy before harvey if he was available however i dont think he would be surely freo will pull the trigger on him, also that is what my ideal outcome would have been if we landed pick 7 and 14 acres and schranberg goodjob mate

I have Scharenberg and Bontempelli as number 1 and 2 for the Pies after Boyd. I can't imagine we could get both. Fantastic result if it happened. Can't see us adding to our midget midfield brigade with Blair, Thomas, Kennedy, Dwyer, Sidebottom and now Adams. That's a lot of smalls mids, and Freeman doesn't play too differently to the likes of Thomas, Kennedy and Adams.

There is no way Melbourne drafts anything other than a pue mid.

Sheed, Freeman or Bontempelli, whoever is left out of those three.
