Melbourne selects: Luke McLean 183cm, 76kgs


Small defender/midfielder, thought he was quite handy and probably flew a bit under the radar for SA because of the attention given to Gibbs and Sellar and to a lesser extent Schmidt......was busy and tidy running off half back.....kept Houli relatively quiet in the first match and has good closing speed...disposal is tidy, relatively penetrating right foot, and he usually selects the best option and hits his target.....could be a good replacement in Whelan's role in a couple of years.

I reckon we should stop after Adelaide take their last pick.

I am happy to do one or two more rounds - i think it will go that deep - if clubs choose to pass then just let us know and we will put you down as pass.

at the end lets all submit the 5-6 we would think about submitting. would not matter if we had the same bc we could see who we are all thinking about and which players get the most votes.

I'm not certain anymore than 75 players will get picked up and it's becoming very hit and miss, hence enhancing the chances of us looking stupid.

I for one don't know enough to keep going. I know many players, but it would be a total semi-educated guess to pick them up.

HBF, we need to draft a ruckman this year and even if you're thinking about Kreuzer, Bellchambers, etc. for next year, you'd have to be mad to overlook Jacobs or Hampson.
