pretty sure hes only 20.. what are the chances of him being picked up by melbourne HFF? i liked what i saw against sandy earlier on in the season would be handy

Couldn't see melbourne taking silvagni

Why would melbourne pick up a mature age player who plays as a KP defender when we've already got Rivers, Garland, Warnock, Frawley, Martin and McNamara who is yet to play a game?

Despite melbourne multitude of on-field problems, KP defenders are the one area where we've had good solid improvement this year. Another key defender is probably our last priority in this years draft.

PREDICTION: could be a smoky in the draft as some clubs (Essendon in particular) are looking for developed backmen. seems the perfect fit. is already 22 and developed.

You mean the 3rd because the SANFL in the 2nd best Comp in the land there's no disputing it

I was wondering HFF 07 and others if any of you are able to give me the cut off date for this years draft.

Also what do you think of Liam Jones?? his birthday is next year on 24 Feb. He has missed this season and championships with a knee not a full year one, only an injury that has kept him out for 2-3 months i believe. Do you think clubs will rookie or select him this young as a younger age player?

I am not sold on Silvagni. I actually think James Wall is more AFL defender type if he can find a bit of speed off the mark.

Top stuff! Although in the key defenders you noted that Matt Martin from SA lacks in kicking?! He's got a beautiful leg and is capable of kicking 60m+.
