Really, I went to the Tigers Vs Razorbacks last night...

I have never seen a more cocky, up themselves player as one Phil Handy...

Just sitting in the stands you could see him chipping in with little smartars* comments at every moment he could...

First he bags Mark Bradtke, then on his way down the court gets into Leonard Copeland with more smartars* comments... this guy has got to grow up...

Later on he copped a little comment from a bloke in the crowd... and whats he do, he hits a three, comes running back then says something back to the guy in the crowd, that is not the way to react to someone in the crowd. The more professional way would have been to ignore him!

Good to see him get fouled off in the end and to sign 'Hit The Road Jack, don't you come back no more, no more, no more, no more' lol, funny stuff.

I am happy he isn't at the Tigers now.

I disagree. Handy is a top bloke. The reason he would have been given them smartarse comments is because, as shown on Inside Basketball earlier this year he is still good friends with the Tigers players.

I dont think they were mates.

There was plenty of pushing and shoving....

The way him and Lanard were trading barbs on Inside Basketball that time, I reckon it would have been in good fun last night. Anyway, basketball is a game for personalities, and the crowd interaction is something basketball has over footy.

What are you talking about hawkfan......its called trashtalk, one of the most enjoyable parts of the game and used to perfection by guys like Magic, MJ and Isiah.

One of my favourites....was a Bulls, Utah matchup on a sunday and the game going down to the wire. Karl The Mailman Malone at the line, hits the first, the second all important. Pippen leans in and says " The Mailman doesnt deliver on Sundays " Malone missed it and the Bulls went on to win.

Gotta love the trashtalk....

Another, how about Dikembe Mutombo asking Jordan if he can hit the free throw with his eyes closed...Jordan closes his eyes, cans the free throw.."Welcome to the NBA"

Love it!
