I love this Pic its so "If this is a stupid question Rooch im going to tear your head off and shit down your neck"
Can't wait til the post match pressers. All those questions are traditionally stupid at the best of times. I really can't wait to have a coach who isn't all political correctness and will be surly at times when it is appropriate.

was that the one that he would have kicked the goal to put us 7 points up deep in the last?
Yeah ... that's the one. The sliding doors moment that ultimately led to Sando's sacking. I know of course so much else happened since then but if Danger had wriggled free and kicked the goal ......

Add that to my long memory bank of excruciating finals memories.

If Callinan had actually hit him on the tit instead of him having to take it on the half volley.

Ah, the What Ifs...

Also find it funny he wasn't even listed as an option on the 'next Crows coach' thread poll.
True, it's more than just funny, it shows that the panel really did have a 'secret weapon' candidate who was off the radar, and maybe the people in BF who were hinting at a big find were getting the right info but not enough details to stop us jumping to Clarkson. I can see how a rumour might have gone around the club that some sort of a coup is about to be pulled off.

Yeah, what if Hawthorn had nailed half of the 10 more scoring shots they had? What if Rutten hadn't given away that late late free against Collingwood? What if Franklin hadn't nailed that last second 55m goal? Ah the pain of it all! :) :)

what if cousins didn't play out of his skin (and maybe off his head?) after half time in 2006. Why can't on of the 'what ifs' go our way.

what if the umpires had actually used lube against us in that prelim in 2012 instead of going in dry

for a club thats only 25 years old, we've certainly had our fair share of pain

It was completely baffling. Out of all the things Sando could have whinged about to the press and he chose something as petty as a 25 degree day. Even worse still, he mentioned in the presser that he told his players to ignore what he said about the weather in that press conference as he didn't wan't to give them excuses for the underperforming in the next game. Seriously that itself is pretty nuts, and admitting it to the press is even crazier.

It's a shame too because up until that point, he was virtually whinge free. I watched all his pressers and he wouldn't usually complain about anything. Even things he probably should have.
It was a bloody hot day.

I think I would've been dehydrated if I hadn't had about 30 beers!

Which candidates and when did Ruchi speak with them? Quoting Rooch on this board should be a hanging offence. This clown has attempted to destabilise the Crows in every article he has written for the rag since we got Walsh. Must be really stinging down there at the swamp.
There is absolutely nothing wrong with the Crows approach. You see a solution to a festering problem, remove problem, put in solution, but before you make it official you confirm your decision with a formal appraisal.

Someone should point out the term "due diligence" to rooch

This is the same guy who wrote a journalistic piece in the newspaper about Adelaide supporters being jealous of Port supporters.

Something like that barely has a place as a trolling thread on Bay 13, let alone an article by a supposed journalist in a capital city newspaper!

There is no point in expecting anything other than gutter "journalism" from this guy. He rarely has quotes or facts, it's all just opinion pieces designed to paint the AFC in a bad light. Absolute rubbish.

P.S. I believe it is "due diligence" ... unless the board were so thorough they did their due diligence twice? ;)

Just watching the Carlton game on fox. Lyons is a clearance machine. I wonder whether Phil will play him? Gut feeling says he will have to work on his defensive running and he'll get every chance to play in the middle

Edit: get the feeling walshy won't be playing pods down back 1 on 1

Haha yeah. Although it's not that Pods can defend one on one, it's that he was matched up against Troy Menzel. Poor match up for any KPP.
