Barrett on TWR still saying that the players brought down Sanderson. Never let the truth get in the way of a good story Purple!
The man who said we were 24 hours away from announcing Neeld as our head coach last time? Guy probably doesn't know his elbow from his asshole at this point.

Sando clearly played favourites
It also appears that Sandos stupid selections and use of the sub was just as baffling and annoying for the players as it was to most of us supporters. The last straw for me was when he had Matt Crouch as the sub in the last game in a dead rubber. Just dumb.

Yeah, what if Hawthorn had nailed half of the 10 more scoring shots they had? What if Rutten hadn't given away that late late free against Collingwood? What if Franklin hadn't nailed that last second 55m goal? Ah the pain of it all! :) :)
If Tyson Edwards wasn't injured in the 2002 Preliminary Final?

The what if's are endless.

Change "injured" to "king hit".
F******** Cloke
I was at that game too. My friend said at half time "Watch Collingwood get all the frees in the 2nd half" ... so it was. Balmy weather that finals series if I remember correctly. Also lost my mobile phone in a taxi (before I was drunk). Good trip! :( :(

Regardless, seems like the new copout for clubs getting rid of coaches is "communication problems". All 3 gone this post season we have been told failed in this area.

So this means 17% of AFL clubs employ coaches who can't communicate on massive contracts even after having done their "due diligence". I haven't seen a single board member lose their job yet as a consequence of their major f*ck up. Funny that.

We were going really well with Tyson about BOG.

Wasn't it windy because they'd knocked half the stands at the MCG down?

My biggest what if is not winning the Premiership in 2006, by far the best team that year but lost it mentally after a thumping by the Eagles at Subi in Round 17. Probably should have still won the Prelim but got destroyed by Cousins in the second half.

Nothing worse than being at the MCG against one of the big clubs when you were leading, then the opposition get a huge run on and u know u are gone for all money. When it is in a final vs Collingwood, it takes the cake. Ouch.

Actually there is one thing worse ... being an Adelaide United fan at a GF vs Melbourne Victory ... and of course losing.

As a Norwood supporter my biggest hurt is still that Scott Hodges last minute goal in the '96 Prelim. The very definition of kicking it out of your ****. Crows have hurt me a lot but nothing beats that pain ... although having beaten the, in 2 GF's since has eased it just a little.

Ditto. I think that there have have probably been a number of interesting conversations. Anyone here working for ASIO? They probably recorded all of them. ;)
Danger would have done some Bear Grylls impressions ... Walshy would have wondered what the hell he has gotten himself into.

Being a Doggies fan and walking away after the '95 and '96 Grand Finals was pretty painful as a young fella. Alan Stewart deserved to be the first Central District Premiership Coach, without him the 9 wins after 2000 probably wouldn't have happened.

I don't think I'll ever be truly content with Centrals achievements until they beat Port in a GF.

At least it was never windy at Goldfingers.
No... No it isn't. :D
