Has pederson talked about why he did not challenge the lateral that went forward?

We may lose Schwartz to a head coaching vacancy. Mike Lombardi has touched on it recently on the ringer pods, hopefully Bradham does not follow him if he does go.

Lombardi also hates our franchise. He has claimed multiple times this year that Pederson is the worst coach in the past 25 years or something.

One positive with Foles.

He has time to get back used to playing.

We have the East locked up.

Very good chance for a first round bye in the playoffs.

Gives him time to get used to receivers, defences and chemistry.

You would hope this kicks the defence into gear. They need to play like they did at the end of the game. Our front 7 needs to get after QBs and give the offence help.

s**t news on Wentz .... really s**t news.
Hope it’s not as bad as the initial news indicated .
Never like injuries to quality players because it dilutes the quality of the viewing .
Rodgers and now Wentz very disappointing.

Can anyone ever remember a circumstance where everyone thought it was an ACL and it wasnt?

He's done for the year. Just got to cope for it. Let's pray that he doesnt lose his agility.

A few months ago everyone thought Manchester City's Ilkay Gundogan had done his knee again in the first match of his return but escaped it. But in his case they suspected it wasn't serious before he went home that night.

Canberra Raiders captain Jarrod Crocker went through something similar after going down in the Indigenous Allstars game about 10 months ago.

But obviously that's not too much to get excited about. Across NFL, AFL, NRL, A-League & major European leagues, those are the only 2 recent examples I can think of off the top of my head :(

The wentz injury overshadows what was probably the best win of the season.

I wonder how the offense changes with foles at qb. I thought it was interesting that foles was in shotgun for alot of the snaps where it was clearly a running down.

I think I'm at the anger stage of grief.

This was the most predictable injury going around. He should have been coached not take some of these unnecessary hits. We all said it when he took the hit on the goal line against Carolina. That negligence has cost us our best shot at a superbowl, and it's potentially cost us a truly transcendental quarterback forever. There are no guarantees Wentz is as special post knee surgery. Indeed, he loses that agility he will not be.

ESPN's Chris Mortensen reports Carson Wentz will undergo ACL surgery "within a couple days," and Dr. James Andrews anticipates Wentz being sidelined 9-12 months.

Per Mortensen, Andrews hasn't spoken directly with Wentz, but the noted orthopedic specialist said expectations need to be tempered for ACL recoveries, saying repairs need 9-12 months. Wentz is almost certain to start next summer's training camp on active/PUP with a chance he misses the start of the season. The Eagles will roll with Nick Foles the remainder of the 2017 season.

So back to this season it's not possible for the Vikings to have the tiebreaker over Eagles anymore, is it? Eagles just have to win 2 more games to lock up 1st seed. Possibly 1 win will be enough with Vikings having Green Bay potentially with Rodgers next week

stuff happens, you can't blame the coaches. Its his ability to avoid those hits that makes him an elite qb.

If Foles performs at the level of say Eli, I wonder if he keeps the job until Wentz comes back.
