why all the hate for McDaniels (genuine question) other than he is Pats/Deflate Gate?
Coz hes a giant douchebag and slimeball.

Backed out of the colts job and left people without jobs who thought they had one, drove denver into the ground when he got power with sh*t moves, got a punchable face.

So many things to hate about him.

What he said plus the Belichick coaching tree isn't exactly that inspiring so far. Don't think he would be well received in Philly & there looks to be better options out there.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports Eagles management has told coaching candidates that QB Carson Wentz "is fixable."
Maybe Wentz is fixable but this report doesn't move the needle much. The Eagles aren't going to attract the best coaches by admitting they have at least $31 million per year for the next four years committed to a broken player. Wentz's massive contract still has nearly $60 million in dead cap before next year so it's hard to see Wentz not being on the roster next year. It makes sense from a financial and talent perspective for Philly to try to fix Wentz. He averaged at least 7.5 yards per attempt in 2017 and 2018 before taking a small step back two years ago. Then things fell off the rails this year as he led the league in interceptions and sacks while playing in just 12 games. If there is a way to unlock the old Wentz, it's worth it for the Eagles to try because of his ceiling and how much money they owe him. His status as the team's starter next year could come down to a camp battle with Jalen Hurts, who played well in his limited action under center to close out the 2020 season.

This has disaster written all over it. Management/ownership telling prospective coaches what to do already.

I don't mind McDaniels. He has worked with Brady for many years and been successful so he knows what to do to get the best out of the qb position. Will tell Wentz to listen and adjust or be benched.

Also should Hurts be traded? Could he fetch a first rd pick? If yes I say pull the trigger. Could then recruit a stud WR and a good LB or another WR

Bieniemy's agent tweeted overnight that the Eagles HC is no longer available .... 2 + 2 = McDaniel will get the job

Eagles hired Colts OC Nick Sirianni as head coach.
Per FOX's Jay Glazer, Sirianni "met multiple days with ownership and team brass." It is in keeping with the league's recent youth movement, as Frank Reich's top lieutenant is only 39 years old. It is also in keeping with Eagles owner Jeffrey Lurie's tendency to make aggressive hires. Sirianni has had a quick rise through the coaching ranks, starting as a Chiefs quality control man in 2009. He coached wide receivers before winding up in San Diego where he graduated to quarterbacks. He landed in Indy in 2018. The Colts have had an inventive, adaptive offense that had to adjust on the fly following Andrew Luck's stunning 2019 retirement, though Sirianni was not the play-caller and has never called plays at the NFL level. That's where the risk comes in for Philly. It is still the kind of move teams should be making, gambling on a young talent instead and unknown upside.

Think I'm ok with this, has a fair bit of coaching experience for someone still in his 30s, Colts played an attacking brand. Certainly preferred to numbnuts from NE.

Carolina Panthers. Zach Wilson.
Spot on. Perfect no name puppet for Roseman to try and take all the credit from if it goes well, easy scapegoat if it goes bad.
