5th seed gone now. Won't be able to win enough games to tie with Miami. Unless something drastic happens.

The good news is that we have at least been very competitive with Orlando this year.

Desperately need Thad back. We don't have a legitimate 2nd/3rd scorer without him.

Really need Thad.

Cannot believe Chicago have the same record :o

Cleveland/Boston vs Detroit/Toronto as the remaining 2. Not good

It will be Boston/Orlando either way. But I want Orlando so much more

Ahh looks like it's going to be Boston. Chicago beat Detroit and now we're stuck in 7th. And to think if Orlando won their last 3 we could still be playing them.

Alright down by 1. 18 seconds left ball in our possession. But the fact is we've been leading pretty much since the 2nd quarter. Must win this to get anyshot with Magic.

This will be a huge win in the context. Our chances probably double if we play Orlando compared to Boston.

I don't like Lou on the court at these times.

Miller with a huge basket. And 1 chance

Bloody Hell!!
Thank GOd For That. Miller Missed his FTs and thought we were done for. Held on by a point:D:D:D
What does it say when there was no LJ, Mo, Or Ilgauskas? Who cares.

In One way, we've got the home court advantage, in another way it was disgraceful almost the lack of bench scoring. That's what killed Orlando that's what killed us here. Please oh please let us win on Saturday.

Going to download the game and watch it on Saturday before the next game. Good lead up :p

Dissapointing, not that we lost the series because that was more than a likely chance but more to the point we didn't come to play at all and considering they were missing their two best players in the series we were atrocious.

Alas the year's over and we probably didnt live up to expectations that was set on us preseason. But next year there has to be changes, Andre Miller probably will go and we have to look for a new PG. We need some 3 point shooting desperately in the side. I don't know how deep this draft is so will be hoping for some good shooters behind the arc.

DiLeo may or may not stay, personally I hope he does thought he did a good job after he took over from Cheeks and he comes across well. I suppose the good news after all this is that Brand will be back as fresh as he can be. But I think it's safe to say that next will be a different Philly, probably more defensively sound than offensive. Jason Smith will be back and I'm keen to see what he can deliver because I reckon he'll go some way in the NBA.

08/09 was a mixed season but here's hoping for less of the old and in with some new next year

Not Looking Good Miller and Ratliff both skipping final team meeting
http://www.nba.com/2009/playoffs2009/05/01/76ers.miller.ratliff.ap/index.html

Seems like the vibe is that DiLeo will go and I guess it's understandable. They say they want the meanness reckon they'll have to go someone that will come down on them hard. But this line by Iggy troubles me
I don't know if I can say it, but I think we're going down

We haven't exactly gone up so bottoming down doesn't exactly please my mind. Make some trades, get the right players.

We need a new backcourt. Or we need to find a way to play Thad/AI at the 2. We need both of them on court, but cannot have one of those guys playing 4 as they are too small, and Brand will have that supposedly next year.

Our needs in order are probably 1, 2, backup 5.

Miller/Williams
Green/Ivey
Iguodala/Young
Brand/Speights
Dalembert/Ratliff/Smith

Unless they see Smith as our backup 5, then a veteran of some sort would come in handy. I see Lou as our 6th man, playing backup 2/1. Don't want him starting.

Annoying that our 2 best scorers play the same position.

Free agents at the 1 + 2 at the end of 2009

Atlanta:
Bibby, Murray

Boston:
House (player option), Starbury

Charlotte:
Felton (restricted)

Chicago:
Gordon

Dallas:
Kidd, Green

Denver:
Carter :o

Detroit:
Iverson

Golden State:
Watson (restricted), Crawford (ETO)

Houston:
Wafer

Indiana:
Jack (R), Daniels (team option)

Lakers:
Bryant  (Come home maybe)

Milwaukee:
Sessions (R)

NY:
Robinson (R), Q-Rich

Phoenix:
Barnes

Sac:
McCants (R)

SA:
Finley

Toronto:
Parker

Utah:
Korver, Price, Knight

So there is no much there...except Gordon and Bryant at the 2. Kidd only real player at the 1.

I don't see them let Miller leave...unless they want to trade.
