Personally am not sold on the guy. I know his defensive penchant and thats probably what I'm most pleased about but he's never had immense playoff success. Hope he knows how to group Dal, Iggy and Brand playing in the same team.
Kidd aint going to Philly. He wants to go to a contending team and there are plenty of teams more appealing in that sense. The options are Blake, Bibby or Miller.
Blake is alright, as he is a pass first PG, who can shoot outside.
Although getting Kidd somehow would be ideal for Jrue's development.
Yeah, i agree....just pointing out how he would be a perfect fit for mentoring JrueKidd aint going to Philly. He wants to go to a contending team and there are plenty of teams more appealing in that sense.
Lou playing the 1?Portland were waiting for the Hedo deal to finish up before dealing Miller.
And now because he isn't going there, it is either a Miller S&T for just Blake, or they sign Miller outright.
The max that was offered to Miller by Ed was 2/16, but was laughed at. He wants 3/30, which is ludicrous.
Miller isn't coming back anyway...he either gets signed, or walks. the backup, plan B move is Ronnie Price for the vet min, and rotate Lou, Jrue and Ronnie at the 1.
Lou playing the 1?
how did this come about? Has he shown he can play point guard on any level?
He showed a bit at the end of the season. Was actually learning how to play PG properly. He was driving and dishing to open guys, instead of taking ill-advised shots. Look at his month of April. Solid numbers off the bench (17 points, 2.5 assists, 2 boards, 1.8 steals, 1.3 TO, Shot .486 from the field, .853 from the line and .350 from 3 land)
He can still score very easily, especially if he works on his range in the off-season.
He may not be able to run an NBA team yet, but has potential.
