wtf is with andre miller taking so many shots?? more then brand and iggy??

I thought the exact same thing when I saw the box score, not only did he take more but he took 24! one off his career high. He's become a much more aggressive player on offense, last season he had career highs in shot attempts and points per game, should see a decrease in both his shots and points per game this year with Brand now commanding the ball down low. As Howard was in foul trouble, Orlando sent double teams to Brand everytime he touched the ball, that would explain his lack of shot attempts.. Not sure about Iggy though

It is clear what is bothering Iggy. He has been the #1 on offense for 2 years, and has never played with a good Big Man. He has to adjust. Today showed that when we need points from somewhere, he can do it. With Brand being the centre of attention, and even Young being looked at more, Iggy has sat back. When Brand struggled, he was there. They just need to find the equilibrium between the two.

Iguodala's seamed to be pretty disappointing to me...

I thought Elton Brand would've complimented his game, but just hasn't happened.
Give it time. 6 games in, what do you expect. Instant chemistry?

This is good to hear

Sixers go back to basics at practice

The Sixers are going back to basics: working on their spacing around power forward Elton Brand.

Yesterday was the last of three days of practice at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine before tonight's 7 o'clock game against the Utah Jazz (5-1). The Sixers (2-4) haven't played since a Thursday night loss at the Orlando Magic.

"With Elton, we need to read and react," coach Maurice Cheeks said. "Certainly, the last few days we've been practicing that."

Well I'm guessing that article will take effect after the loss with Utah. So dissapointing once again and our home fans certainley got into them after.

I though we had it coming into the fourth we were down for 2 quarters but out scored them in the 3rd 30-14. But just ran out losers. :(

Things need to change and quickly, despite this being a long season we are 2-5 something that we probably didn't expect. We got Toronto again tommorrow and I'll be expecting something to spark because right now we are way below expectations.

Huge 10 point win today. Will surely be confidence boosting.

3-5, going to Indiana tomorrow at 11.

Iggy taking a different approach. Despite him still shooting like shit from the field, making up for it in Assists and Boards. 3rd straight Double Double. 18 points, 10 boards and 9 assists.

Love the performance today. Definitley questioned whether we could do it especialy at Toronto but love the way boys stood up. Solid contributers even Speights getting on some of the action- 12 points 7 boards.

Just logged in and I am shocked that we were down by 20-odd points at the end of the first, yet we have fought back well.
