Pediculus Humanus Capitas

Commonly known as nits, cooties, lice or louse.

Delusional Parasitosis!
Ever noticed how your head starts to itch whenever head lice are mentioned?

*Delusional Parasitosis is a mistaken belief that one is being infested by parasites such as mites, lice, fleas, spiders, worms, bacteria, or other organisms.

I can't stand ****roaches and spiders. When I was a kid I had a huge spider get caught up in my hair. My hair was/is long and curly so it would be an easy place for a spider to get lost in. I only realised it was there when I felt the tickling around my neck. It seemed like ages before my brother got it off me but it probably wasn't. It didn't help that I was jumping around everywhere. I remember crying and that was it. I had a fear of big spiders after that. I'm fine around daddy longlegs or small spiders but I just can't handle the big hairy ones.

i know they are harmless, and i've seen people let huntsman crawl all over them, but if someone offered me 1 million dollars to relax and let a huntsman crawl around on my stomach, i physically would not be able to do it... especially if it decided to travel south.

This thread has made me realise something...

I'm not as fearless as I thought I was. And perhaps more vulnerable than I thought, as well.

I'm sure I'm not alone in this regard. :(

CLOWNS :(

My evil best friend made me watch "Clown House" one night to try and quell my fear..... that was until I freaked out and locked myself in the bathroom :D

i'm scare of heights. Even if I'm sitting in the lounge room watching tv, i feel scare if they have a camera shot, shooting down from a tall building.

I'm scared of bugs crawling in my ears, this fear was made even worse when I watched a movie where some guy had a roach crawl into his ear and they had to pour hot wax in his ear to get it out, ahhhh!

Spiders ;)

But my old best friend wow she was scared of everything!!!!!

from cats to butterflys haha fish spiders daddy long legs scared her the most!!! we were at the zoo once and she was taking a photo of me and antoehr friend in the butterfly house! one landed on her and she just fell to the floor! it was the funniest thing I have ever seen! how can someone be afraid of a BUTTERFLY? HAHA

My only phobia is Height. You wont catch me jumping out of a plane. Why jump out of a perfectly good plane! ;)

As goes for spiders, since i'm the only on in my family who isn't affraid of them, it me who gets rid of them. I usually just use a tissue to cach it. (or a broom/mortein if it is out of reach and then I use a tissue!)

BUT we did have a cat once who ate them. I sometimes held him up to the wall and he catch it and eat it even the ones sprayed with mortein! I think he ate to many though, he died!!

Stepladders scare the heck out of me... not necessarily heights though... nothing you can say will convince me that they are sturdy.

Waking up in bed after a bender and finding both Celine Dion & Amanda Vanstone in the cot (naked!).

Not a pleasant nightmare that one

Two cannibals ate a clown.

One said to the other " do you think that tasted funny? "

I can relate. The only time I've ever been stung by a bee the stupid thing flew in my ear and I squished it in there with my finger. Screamed my little head off.

Going into rainforests...

One of my friends went to one in QLD and suffered from headaches a week after she got home. It ends up that a tick went into her ear when she was there and was buring it's way further and further in.. YUCK

Injections.

Am scared it is going to kind of slip and make a big cut in my arm, rip the skin apart..:(
