Why is a Knicks fan trash talking? Its disgraceful the mods even allow an imbecile like you on the boards.
As long as your hurting, i'm happy.

why can't Phoenix fans beleive in their team win it all? I go for Houston, I beleive they can make it, doesn't mean they will and it hurts if they dont. Isn't that why you support a club?

Dude you've been supporting the Knicks for way too long :)
You don't see Knicks fans coming on here and making ridiculous excuses for failure and insisting they're still the team to beat either :D

Well Marion Wanted to Go and Shaq probably sounded like a Good Idea at the time:confused:
A 35 year old overweight center in the twilight of his career is just about the worst move Phoenix could have made.

Ohh and to Poppovich if by chance your reading this, the Hack-a-shaq ploy is a gutless tactic. Weak.
been happening for over decade.During that tiime Shaq has failed to address his appaling FT shooting.Blame him,not the opposition coach who is just picking out the weakest link

has to be the grant hill injury.

I mean we signed this guy who very rarely in his career (has he ever?) missed games and then he's fit and dominant all season and gets injured for the playoffs.

so, so unlucky.

who saw that one coming.

and san antonio kept fouling shaq. should be outlawed. no legitimate reason why I mean why should Phoenix be punished for having someone on the floor who's a terrible line shooter (and should be protected from shooting free throws just for the sake of it) and why should san antonio be rewarded for expertly exploiting this?

Every team has excuses for losing but it doesn't mean that they are the main reason. Hill out didn't help, but being Hill it probably should be expected. The hack-a-shaq approach is a blight on the game, however it is within the rules and Shaq really should be better at free throws.

This year it came down to the Suns not finishing down the stretch and the Spurs being a quality side that came up big when it counted. Thats it. I feel we have one more year to have a shot at the finals with this team so hopefully we can do that.

I'm sure we will be in the playoffs next year which is more than can be said for the 'mighty' New York Knicks. The highest payroll in the league and they struggle to win 30 games in one of the weakest conferences in history! It would be funny if it wasnt so pathetic. Who are you going to blame now Thomas is gone?

If I supported them I would want to focus on another team who actually made it to the playoffs also.

Shaq knew from day one he was going to be fouled whenever he got position in the post. So it's his own fault that he could never better himself and shoot a reasonable percentage. So calling it a weak tactic when intentionally fouling him is stupid, it's a strategy exposing the oppositions weakness.
I remember when he was working with Magic Johnson at it and managed to hit a decent percentage for awhile. Don't know why he stopped going with that.

when at the lakers, jackson queried shaq's ft shooting a lot and shaq would always say he'd hit them when it counts.

Good to see a Suns fan address the topic.
Knicks fans realise we're no good. Phoenix fans actually believed they could win it all, and that trading for SNAQ was a great move. :D
Delusional.
seeing as this series hung on a double overtime thriller in game 1, what point are you trying to make?

They lost 4-1, and were outplayed easily by the Spurs. So saying game 1 was the decider is just stupid. The point is the Marion trade screwed up any playoff hopes they had.

Game 1 killed the Suns mentally though. Imagine knowing that a team has the wood over you and then getting forced into double OT by a one of the guys who constantly kills you nailing his first 3 for the year.

Really killed their confidence.

Having said that I think they still would have lost the series even if they won the first game.

Last season suns got through the 1st round.. but they played a weaker-lakers team..

They still lost to the spurs, except this year it was the 1st round.

No way they would of won a championship with last season's lineup anyway.
