You guys have been quite competitive in the 2 games I watched (the last 2 weeks I haven't watched any footy after the full time siren in our game)

Your performance is what I expected from the Crows this year. Competitive, and there abouts. This shit we're displaying reminds me of Melbourne under Neeld. At least Carlton when they were shit had patches. These 2 weeks are Neeld like in crapness.

Height, weight: 188cm, 80kg
Recruited from: Murray Bushrangers
Projected draft range: 1-10
Rationale: If not for an ACL injury, would be in the No. 1 mix and may have been No. 2 on this board otherwise.

Strengths:

Damaging both forward and through the midfield, high impact per possession, makes quick and sound decisions with ball in hand, moves the ball on quickly, takes ground balls on the move at speed, agility, evasion, avoids tackles in traffic, takes on the game aggressively with his run, long-range goalkicker, kicking penetration and hurt factor, composure under pressure, contested ball-winning

Weaknesses:

Improvement not as rapid as many of his peers in 2019, unclear best position, nclear scope to be a full-time midfielder

Big fan of his. Worst case is a Degoey type of forward/mid, best case is something like Dusty.

Very good chance to be available at GWS first pick given the ACL. Similar slide to Kemp last year.

Walker is cooked, EH hasn’t come on, and that’s about it. Frampton is a dud.

Thilthorpe is a skilled, quick and agile KPF/Ruck at about 200cm. Was already playing league footy last year.

Definitely a need but if this is our one and only elite end of the draft pick, I will be ready to give up.

We desperately need some elite class in the midfield and have for years. Think Pendlebury. Someone with high iq who creates play and rarely ever makes bad decisions. Matt Rowell would have been perfect. He would already be our best midfielder. I'm sick of watching dumb ******* footballers at the crows.

Sure we won't actually get access to the best player with pick 1, that will go naturally go to a Victorian team through some "academy" shenanigans.

But the higher the pick the harder it will be for our recruiting team to trade it down for lamer picks.

And it doesn't get higher than pick 1.

What the hell are you talking about? Pick 1 gives us the currency to trade for a WHOLE BUNCH of lamer picks. I look forward to seeing us trade it for 11 future 3rd and 4th round picks.

Holy hell, I just looked him up and it said he was already listed at 99kg. He's already approaching 2 meter Peter's draft day measurements.... In August last year.

That kid could easily end up being 110kg of muscle when he's filled out!

Don't worry, we're not even close to the bottom yet. There will be plenty more chances to draft top end talent in the coming years.

Actually its not all that bad, the pointy end is usually quite clearly set 12 months out (where we will likely pick). And additionally this draft is widely predicted to be the most compromised draft in AFL history. So the options from then on out are going to be more streamlined anyway.

Plus we already have potentially 3 players we can claim ourselves.

I think we are in a pretty good place TBH. Certainly not all doom and gloom!
