Just wondering if anyone knows who the best possible talent could be to slip through to pick 11.

We know that Kreuzer, Morton and Crotchin should go top 3 and would maybe assume, Ebert, Rioli, Masten, Rance and Henderson would be soon to follow.

What do people think?

I suppose if we can come up with a likely top 11 at least we know we could get one of them.

i read a week or so ago that scott selwood, the youngest of the four, is tipped to go around the top 10 and was being looked at by sydney
as far as i know, scott is apparently very good, but you'd think he'd go a lot higher than 10 in an allegedly weak draft simply based on joel's first season after being picked No 7

I agree that he would probably go on 'name' anyway, have also read he is meant to be the pick of the 4 but that would put a lot of pressure on him.

Would feel for the parents if they ended up with 4 sons playing in 4 different states!

Having said that woudl love to have him in Sydney.

he's not as good as Joel. I would prefer if we didn't pick him up with 11 thats our key position player that we dearly need someone for Baz to train up.

Rioli wont go top 10 (Could fill the void Schneids left, but I don't really want him) , Rhys Palmer will most likely go top 10, if he somehow fell to us I would love him here.

Lets not get carried away and draft a player because of what his brothers have done. He may not be as good anyway. It's way to early to make a call. I hope we pick the best KPP available at that time. We have to address our deficiancy and we don't have enough quality talls. This gives us a great opportunity.

Don't worry about Selwood, he wont go top 11, I wouldn't be surprised if he wasn't 1st round, he isnt Joel by any standard.

My guess is that David Myers will fall to us!

Being a Tassie boy myself I would love to see Tom Collier go to the Swans. He is the best Tasmanian in the draft - 192cm Key position player who can play forward or back (or in the middle at U/18 level).

Isn't Naitanui inelligible?
I wouldn't bother talking about Mastern, McEvoy, Ebert and Rance, they have virtually no chance of being available by 11.
Henderson aswell but not so much.

I agree Selwood will probobly be picked up in the first based on his name being Selwood however it will be more likely be West Coast and Geelong looking for some brotherly love that will take him. Tom Collier sounds like a good fit for us and being a Tasmanian hes not going to want to be traded home to play in a couple of years.

With all the talk about this being a Weak draft people forget the top 20-25 is still strong not as strong as last year but than most since 2000. There also alot of good Ruckman in this draft which I would imagine us using pick 26 on like a Dawson Simpson, Tom Bellchambers or Wil Sullivan.

Yeah, love to get him if he drops that far and if he's willing to come.
FWIW, I don't think Rance will get past St.Kilda but if he does I have read that his family will be moving wherever he gets drafted so home sickness will not be an issue. Would be a great choice for you guys if he was still there.
