Perfect opportunity for Shaun to show his mettle. Tough assignment with huge upside for the club.

To be frank though, I don't think Shaun has the grit for it.

If Boak can't make a permanent change when SPP is no longer living full time with him and guiding him, Shaun wont be able to make a fundamental change by talking to him a couple of hours a week.

Boak is still playing & a mate it's a different dynamic to interacting with a decorated recently retired indigenous player it's not a connection Boak could make.

Might be a different dynamic but its still the same issue. The responsibility of being a new father has a bigger chance of changing fundamentals than a retired player talking to him an hour or two every week. People don't fundamentally change unless they have a big shock to their lives. They tend to finesse around the edges. Death and birth tend to be those type of shocks.

That works in Burgoyne's favour. He's a father. Boak isn't (yet/afaik).

Could be a sweet spot of timing that gives Sam an opportunity to tap into.

No doubt if he doesn't make the most of next yr his gone it's a concern living with boaky hasn't made the penny drop.

He was good while living with boak who babysit him

The issues this year came literally within the first two months of living by himself.

You mean the comb over

I never thought I'd see the mullet come back in vogue, so perhaps there is the opportunity for the Kevin Bartlett comb over to be the next big thing
