I think what I like most about SPP isnt his ability to break tackles, its the fact that when he tackles blokes he traps both arms and stops them in their tracks. His tackles are actually effective, unlike most of what Champion Data considers a tackle these days. I remember a video the Port media guys did a few years ago where Brad Ebert apparently got like 593* tackles in a match, so they showed all the "tackles", and it was basically every time Ebert touched someone while they were in possession of the ball. It was ridiculous. There will not be this issue with SPP.

Yeah I haven't looked at it in great detail, but to me Ebert is an excellent exponent of the tackle and pinning the oppositions arms.
