West Coast & Freo will nibble at his manager for the duration of his career at Port it would be silly if they didn't.

No different to what we’re all here saying about JHF.
We've done it to West Coast players a few times albeit players with Port ties but you build dialog with anyone you have interest in, I'm sure we are doing it with JHF & Pickett it's not always about landing them in the immediate.

These little clips are really interesting and give you some insight into the specialised issues and solutions for improving overall physical conditioning.
Clubs will only employ generalists in their sports medicine/rehab division. Its why seeking out guys who have developed specialist areas is worth seeking out. There are chiros and people like Rick Montiadis who come at sports injuries and the body's bio mechanics from a different angle.

Austin Einhorn the guy who founded Apiros and Boak meet about 5 years ago was a three-time All-American Volleyball player. But reading his bio it sounds like it wasn't until after he finished his career that he went seeking a better way to maximize performance as he writes in his bio - As a pioneer in skill acquisition and human movement, I see a dormant goldmine of potential within today’s athletes. - Staff — Apiros

You may remember the famous AC Milan's MilanLab where Choco and Burgo went in October 2006 after we played Geelong at The Oval, were allocated a couple of hours, but spent the whole day there and Burgo changed our whole 2006-07 preseason based on what he learnt there, and Sydney went there and developed their rehab programs from the knowledge they got from the Lab. which was set up by a Chiro.

In the end it worked too well as their champion players, got great rehab and fixed a lot of their injury issues played well into their mid to late 30's and AC Milan forgot to develop their juniors and buy young players. Also it helps when you have a billionaire owner like Silvio Berlusconi and you can convince him to spend €150 million to set it all up and then provided the annual operational funding.

You get the feeling that if Mitch hasn't re-signed by mid season, speculation of him going home will be absolutely rife.

Absolutely. It was bad enough this trade period where he, his manager and some media people denied he was any chance of leaving and people kept talking as if he was out the door.

A big pre-season is crucial to him having a successful start to the season and renegotiating his contract with Port from a position of strength. I expect him to stay.

By the same token Georgiades, such a young player who is still developing physically as a KPF and apart from this years goal kicking yips is on the rise, would be foolish to re-sign with us earlier than then as I am sure his manager would have advised him. While behind the scenes he may have every intention of signing a contract extension with us, football is his profession so he has every right to maximise the worth of his next contract.

Next season is his fourth year with us. We have shown faith in him through early injury rehabilitation and allowing him to train in WA through part of the 2021 preseason. He is one of the rare breed of KPF's who has been successful almost since the beginning of his playing career and so even if he chose to leave we would make sure we would be well compensated with not only draft picks but an established player I would think. Still I would be surprised if he does go back to WA before becoming a free agent, if at all.

I'm not concerned. How many required players have we lost to WA over the years?. Josh Carr, who reasonably enough wanted to play with his brother at Freo. Danyl Pearce. I don't recall any others.

Im With you. If he wanted to leave, he could have this trade period. The club most likely didn’t offer him as a sweet as contract based on his performance so he’s backing himself in to get a fatter contract. If we don’t, West Coast will

Red flags haha. I've seen him as a young fella, legit crazy.

I'm just happy Boaky has him in Cali instead of seeing Prime Train. That guys a snake oil merchant and then some
