Mate no offence but ur no shot - if the other teams don't take him then he's a crows boy ;)

BTW Congrats hawthorn would have to say that IMHO you guys did the best of all the clubs during trade week. Offloaded dead wood and picked up some easy early draft picks. The future looks bright for the old brown and gold. :D

make that 2,5,7,21,26....

given the tiges will go for deledio....

tambling
roughead / franklin ( prefer roughead )
wood / deluca

we sould pick up some good talent with picks 21 and 26 aswell....

our main focus with the first 3 should be a quality KPP , a quality ruck to back up spider and a quality midfielder to assist crawford and co...

I reckon we traded up to 7 to snare Ryan Willits. Not saying he would be the best option, but we are keen on him. I would say Tambling, Roughhead, Willits.

Please no ruckmen. They take too long to develop and our record with them isnt flash. I would far prefer having a decent KPP and a dud running around in the ruck just like many premiership teams have had. Imagine wasting pick 2 on someone like Fraser or Barry Brooks. No thanks.

I agree Medulsa. I think Meeson or Maric would be good pick ups with our 20/26 pick, plus there are a couple of others. This year there are many quality ruckmen and I don't think using pick 7 on one is the best decision. I'd go for Willits.

Lets just hope we steer clear of Tambling....he is'nt the type we need to go for with pick two and will hopefully be gone by pick five. Seems to be a flash in the pan type player to me.

Hope we get Deledio at 2, (otherwise Griffen) and then one of Franklin or Roughead.

Good job Hawks.....you've done well this week. But that's only part 1 of a three part series. We still have national draft and PSD to go.

Do good things !!

1. Richmond - Deledio
2. Hawthorn - Tambling
3. Bulldogs - Griffen
4. Richmond - Franklin
5. Hawthorn - Roughead
6. Bulldogs - Wood
7. Hawthorn - Deluca
8. Adelaide - Monfries
9. Carlton - Meesen
10. Collingwood - Eckerman

That's my top 10 based on what a club needs, except for picks one to five, best player avaliable, taken!

With pick 6, the Bulldogs need a ruckman for when Darcy gets older, so that they can rest him at FF, Hawks also need another ruckman and will take Deluca at 7, the Hawks have lost all faith in Campbell being that ruckman, Deluca the best option avaliable! Adelaide need another midfield gun for when Roo goes, Monfries will be that player, Carlton need another ruckman (Mott will never make it, French is a stop gap as is Prendergast, Deluca suited to HFF) and the Pies need a lightning quick midfielder, Eckerman is their man!

2 years ago we picked up minson(pick 20) and wight (pick???) we seen abit of minson this year and we will see sum more along with bandy street and skipper our ruck stocks are well off,
and this year the bigger blocks a better so some1 with 22 maybe on the cards

the way i see it is
1deledio
2tambling
3franklin (on par with griffen but the kpp will be the way)
4griffen??/roughhead (do they go with griffen who was seen as a number 2 pick not long ago?)
5 woods or deluca thats the first thing that has 2 be asked deluca will be there at 7 but woods wont, or roughead/griffen?????
6depends on picks 4&5 woods/roughead/griffen
7 same as 6 to hard to see but 1 of the names above griffen may even fall down 2 7 and would be a good pick

i do hope 4
1delideo
2tambling
3franklin
4griffen
5woods
6roughead :p
7monfries

That is exactly why i think we should take Roughead (preferred as he is a vic) at pick 2, unless Deliedo is available, the dogs and tiges need KPP rather then a ruckman, and like i have being saying i can't see both the dogs and tiges both taking midfielders with their first two choices, this will likely leave us with either Griffin or Tambling to take at 5, and if it doesn't then we can take another tall/ruckman and ruckman/tall at 7, and take some midfielders with our 2nd rounder's.

I think Tambling is exactly what the Hawks need. Someone flashy with class that gets people back through the gates.

What we need in these dark times (hopefully ending with the 06 season) is someone to get excited about.

We went with Hodge... long term leader.. class, solid, hard instead of the flashy Judd or the in between Ball.

This boy would compliment Hodge and Mitchell in the engine room for 10 years.

Now is the time to go Flashy!
