Think it will be Luke Shuey (WCE) and Pick 6 for Melbourne's Pick 2.
What about someone like Ziebell and North 1st pick or
Mitch Duncan plus Geelong 1st and change
Don't think Carlton has any midfielders worth pick 2 unless they want Brock back![]()
Lol, the old 5 crap players for a high pick hey
Clueless...
Crouch to Melbourne, Aish to Adelaide.
Ok I'll bite.
While the offer proposed would never happen, to say that they are spud players is just utterly rediculous.
Henderson alone would get an early 2nd round pick (between 20-25)
Richard Douglas made the AA squad this year and his 2012 >>>>>>>>>>> Shuey or Shiel (I realise theyre younger and thats why theyre being targeted).
Ill agree that Mackay has had his chances and has proven he's not going to be a gun, but hes a solid AFL standard player, and Kerridge is young and dont really know yet what hes going to be like.
Once again I totally agree that these players wouldnt get #2 because really it doesnt suit Adelaide to lose 3 best 22 players and it definitely doesnt suit melbourne to have the best of the players being outside the required age bracket for them.
He just re-signed for a further 2 years with the crows.
He loves it, I doubt the club would give up the best rookie in the country (yes I rate him ahead of JOM)
And I suppose Paul Roos really liked what he saw at MFC? If we had as much as Melbourne (well really the AFL actually) to offer, I doubt he'd be coaching at the Demons in 2014...
We are no chance in hell at trading Hunter r Hrovat.Trying to think of what we could package with pick 4. A Nathan Hrovat/Lachie Hunter type would possibly get it done - but based on exposed form, could be overs in achieving a two-pick upgrade.
Both have shown they are likely to be 200 game players.
We don't have much in the way of mids we'd want to lose.
Melbourne (and GWS) need to be realistic and stop going after the likes of Sloane, Steven, Rockliff, Fyfe etc.
They are targeting them because they are guns and are proven players who we all expect to improve, the right age early 20's, and appear to be popular and leaders of their clubs...which is exactly why there isnt a chance in hell any of those clubs would trade them for a draft pick who could end up being nothing.
Shuey for pick two is about right, win/win for both clubs.
The ideal player would of been Luke Parker, but he just signed a contract.
Yer I think if Shuey was the wrong side of 27 and we were rebuilding they would look at it.Shuey for pick two is about right, win/win for both clubs.
I mean it's a win if he wants to come back to Victoria as pick two is as good as you'll get (picks wise). How's it a win for WC when they need mature, quick, goal kicking clearance mids? Shueys the only one we have
