Finding it really hard to give a shit who we take this year. With all the downplaying of the talent in the draft, I feel that we made our play in trade week. Usually I'm counting down the days like a kid anticipating Christmas, but I just haven't got the bug this year. Of course I'll tune in on the day, but until then its all just a bit meh imo

Having Treloar and Aish already signed is better than we could hope for in any draft, makes the draft a little less intriguing for mine. Still keen to see who we pick up but a bit of pot luck at 27, leaving it up to Hine this year?.

I get what you are saying. Hine has talked down the Draft. Having top 30 pock makes it better then the 2009-2010-2011 Drafts

In the draft form guide on the AFL site the top 30 are re-ranked with comments on who might go where. Collingwood is not mentioned once. I know we only have pick 27 and that it might slide a few spots but surely one of those players are a chance to come to us? Out of the players listed from 20 to 30 I'd love to see Harry McKay slide (but highly unlikely) or Rioli or Ben McKay. Not sure what we do if the best player left is a midfielder as we really don't need any more of them.

Jokes on him. By not following his Prestigious grand fathers team, he has missed a premiership.

Funny how a few months ago Weidman wasn't really highly rated, from memory mid to late teens. As we get closer he is mentioned as a top 6 or 7 recruit. Did a game get played and he ripped it apart that I missed??

Mid season some mock drafts had us taking Weideman at our Pick 7.

Its not uncommon for kids to like tigers but that fad is done and dusted by the time they are teenagers and without doubt by the time they are grown men. Serious questions need to asked of those who continue to have that fascination once they have reached puberty and beyond.

Apple doesn't support flash.
Get another browser for your ipad. Safari is crap.
I use Photon or Firefox for Ipad. With Photon you can hit a little tool on the upper right menu whenever you are in a web site that uses flash.
Browser will then adjust & away you go.

Sometimes one of the high profile media draft experts, brings a player in from the teens to a TOP 10 prospect.
Them mysteriously many amateur draft people follow suit.
Unless you are a scout or closely connected to a club (recruiting) it's nearly impossible to have any idea.
I have exactly 0% knowledge of any of this years draft prospects...but if you ask me...I can still give you my opinion...who will go 1st, TOP 10 etc...but all my info is 100% from media & wait for it...BF. LOL

Yes, she is highly respected & obviously very close to some club decision makers.
I always read her articles with interest & belief.
