Pull the trigger on Mitchell Brown at pick 27...
Maybe but 27 might be early for a mature ager

Wont be seeing the number 35 in 2016
Willie Rioli was drafted by Hawthorn in 1990 but never managed a senior game.
There's been plenty of Rioli's playing over the years (at a lower level) who haven't been deemed good enough for the big league, one is at Glenelg in the SANFL currently and he looks nowhere near AFL standard.
Nearly always, they just got it wrong with Willie! So recruiters obviously know which Rioli to pick then.

Recruiters don't get fooled by names that easily. There would be keener to know what his talent levels are like and if the player can play at the level. So recruiters obviously know which Rioli to pick then.
He would be a very clever selection IMO. In his prime, plenty of AFL experience and clearly has the hunger. He's a good fit, more mature than Moore and younger than Cloke. Can play at both ends too which gives us flexibility especially if (when!) Reid breaks down.He won't be available at our next selection. If we want him, have to use pick 27.
Wouldn't be the worst decision. Can't see them doing it though.
Why? LolYou are a foolish fellow.
In the seniorsWhy not? Will go to first picked draftee. Doesn't matter if our first pick is #1 or #101.

I think ita a shame....famous number should be on a good player permanently......Right. Maybe, maybe not.
Didn't see it the year Scharenberg had it either. Not too uncommon.
Absolutely with you on that. I think it was a fantastic sentiment to honor the sacrifice Presti made to put the team first on the eve of the big one, but to never see a player make that number their own just like Presti did is a massive shame. I'm sure we could have thought up something else that would have sufficed, like a club trophy or something.I think ita a shame....famous number should be on a good player permanently......

Which one?Daicos son will have it permanently.
And who is going to play up forward with him in a few years when the team is hitting its straps? We recruited a tall forward who can play second ruck last year. His name is Darcy Moore.
Our need is outside pace or a crumbing forward
Which one?
What if we give it to the eldest and both he and the youngest are on our list? Then the eldest doesn't make it. Do we hand it over to the youngest?
If they do, then I'm one happy Magpie!Yes.
But Daicos jr and jr jr will both make it...
Terrible problem to have! I'm excited.
