Pick 27

I'm really hopeful we look at Matty Allen with our 2nd or 3rd pick.

He could be a gem and you can't teach the things he does instinctively and the way he reads the play.

For mine he has a lot of similarities with Taylor Walker and whilst he might take some time, like Walker I reckon he can make it at Afl level.

Draft picks: 27, 64, 71, 74, 75 (likely to use three selections)

Once the first-round bids have come, Collingwood's first selection is likely to be pushed back to about No.31. They have shown some interest in Mason Redman, a South Australian medium forward, and have also put some time into Bailey Williams, a raw but talented 187cm prospect who has bolted in with a chance at the national draft. Brayden Fiorini and Aidyn Johnson are also in the mix should they get through the 20s, as might be potential Swans father-son Josh Dunkley. If they bid at 31, what would the Swans do? The Pies could also be looking for a mature-age option later in the draft, having shown some interest Marcus Adams and their VFL player Ben Moloney. Jake Lovett, who Melbourne overlooked as a father-son selection, is a shot perhaps in the rookie draft.

Took a look on the afl site and it has him listed as 193 and 72kg....
Did some research and it appears his actually 91kg.

Matthew Allen (39)

Glenelg/North Gambier

Height: 193cm

Weight: 91kg

A talented cricketer, Allen was an Adelaide Strikers rookie two summers ago, before electing to commit to football. He presents well as a lead-up forward and has kicked six goals throughout the carnival. He could be one who gathers momentum in the second half of the season.

2015 STATISTICS
Games: 5
Goals: 26
Avg Kicks: 15.8
Avg Marks: 10.6
Avg Hballs: 6.6

Wait, 5 games for 26 goals? That's pretty impressive by anyone's standards.

1. Burton, Rioli, McKay, Hardwick, Johnson, Crocker( in order preference)

2. Hardwick, Kerbatieh, Allen (in order of preference)

3. Hardwick, Kerbatieh, Allen (in order of preference)

4. Skinner

5. Phillips

IMO kerbatieh is a gun footballer with all the tricks of a cyril rioli ..but........Endurance needs improvement....so does a club take him..i dont know..but he is Afl ready
Realistically 2 preseasons should bring him up to speed, and how much endurance do you need to have as a smash forward pocket? As long as he kicks more goals than Jarryd Blair, that's a win IMO.

So who is Hine going to punch in for 27 (probably 31) ?
It's time to make your final selection & lock it in.
The winner gets BF bragging rights.

I'm selecting...Aidyn Johnson

I don't know too much about the draft. Just read most of the phantoms to get a scope of player we are chasing and is within our range.

Mason Redman. Medium sized forward been put in a few phantom drafts between 25-35. Seems like someone we could use.

Pies have been speaking to a young NT player Dylan Gordon. Played in Victoria last season and was best on ground for Vic Country Under 19. He was going to head back home but Collingwood and another club has requested he stay.

Yeah played state champs with NT in the Under 18 comp last season. Played for us this season gone before playing the last two games for the VFL development side at the Bullants.

A tad rude and unnecessary, especially considering the information appeared relevant.

He does not have the best Reputation though
