Who would you guys pick up with your pick 4?! i am assuming you are taking Murphy with pick 1 and i assume if available then hurn or ellis, or would you be after a kpp?

The draft is shaping out as:

Carlton 1- Murphy
Collingwood 2- Ellis
Hawthorn 3- Kennedy
Carlton 4- Hurn

If that happened I'd be very happy :)

We need Hurn because he's a big size, great footballer, sublime kicking skills, great footy brain, and a natural born leader. We would be made to pass him up.

If we can't get him though, then we should take Kennedy, failing that, Ryder.

In this order:
(Assuming Ellis is gone)

1. Hurn
2. Kennedy
3. Ryder

Already a thread on Pick 4 peoples!

Take Murphy at pick 1, Ellis might go at pick 2 and the Hawks will go after either Ryder, Kennedy, Dowler or Hurn. In order for pick 4 I would like:

1. Hurn
2. Kennedy
3. Dowler
4. Ryder

Cheers.

What a waste. Can't believe Livo went that high. But then again, we got that pick from Freo I think, so we wouldn't have given up anything good in return for it anyway. :p

Given the rumour that Carlton were targeting a tall with pick 1 before they allegedly decided to go with Murphy. This screams Mitch Clark to me with Ryder and Kennedy having never been touted as the number 1 pick.

Clark from reports appears to have more upside with legitimate KP height, whilst still having a lot more potential to fill out than the already built Kennedy. He also has the runs on the board with his junior football more than anyone except one Marc Murphy.

Will be a more imposing forward set up with possibly Lance, Betts, Fev, Waite, Fisher and Clark. The fringe benefit is Deluca can do all the chop work before we bring on his successor and eventual replacement off the bench. :)

Will be very disappointed if we pick Hurn at pick 4......doesn't have that brilliance about him that you'd expect from a top 5 pick.

Hopefully Kennedy/Clark with pick 4
goddard, fiora do? problem is that ppl think they automatically get a superstar with a top 5 pick! that is not the case, not by a long shot!

Another Stewart Dew?

What else can he do?
He can mark, kicks goals and reads the play well from reports, so I wouldn't be too annoyed if we draft him as an inside player.Wouldn't be bad to have a big body in the centre circle and a player who can hit Fev on the chest after a bounce.

We mustn't get caught up in drafting types at the expense of the best footballer, because we all know where you end up.But I still prefer Clark over Kennedy then Hurn since his sprint results aren't that bad.

Kennedy would be good but I doubt he'd be available at pick 4. Not sure about Clark. He might have plenty of ability but there are some question marks over his attitude and application.

Just going on the reports i've read and the type of player the magpies need, which is quick mids. Ellis fits that mould perfectly. If the Pies and Hawks both pass him up, i'm sure Carlton will pick him up a #4.
