He's always been a bit out there with his picks. He picked some good ones for Hawthorn but also had quite a few busts in the first round.Yeah I found his top 25 very interesting/surprising.

Bit of a strange cat and some of his comments were off kilterHe's always been a bit out there with his picks. He picked some good ones for Hawthorn but also had quite a few busts in the first round.

I think now is the perfect time to be picking up a project player, a key forward especially. We currently have good depth all over the ground so picking up another flanker or mid isn't going to benefit us a lot. Unless they become a genuine star it will mean that they, or another quality player will be playing in the reserves for a couple of years until they are delisted or traded. We might as well have a project key forward spending the next 3 or 4 years in the SANFL who would be ready to step into the best 22 as Jenkins or Walker step out. If it comes off, we get a bargain, if not all that we are losing is a late draft pick and spot on the list that has not a great deal of value to us at the moment compared to if we were a side rebuilding. Can't comment, small sample size there to be fair, 1st game at that level, nervous? Hopefully some of the SA guys might have a better idea, I heard a while back there was interest and by the sounds of that article with 12 clubs interviewing him it's genuine interest. No doubt he'd be a purely project player. I did hear he'd kicked quite a few goals in the U18's/Reserves over there??
There's your Jenkins replacement... haha Basketball convert, tall, quick...Looks a classic rookie list type that could really come on sharply
Interesting that Bucky doesn't list Lipinski in his top 50 and has LeBois so high.
You mean brick shithouse?Begley please. The kid is built like a vending machine and still has loads of room to develop.
Nah. Not quite that big.You mean brick shithouse?
Mate we've [WW,JC,DIT. Myself] known Lipinski was on our radar for 3 months or more, it's no coincidence Haggis has been seen in person at several matches in which he's been involved and personally I sat behind Haggis at the match Lipinski played in here in Ballarat and he certainly had the binocs on him every time he was involved in play and took plenty of notes.. Whether he's still there at 43 will be the question, just can't see him at pick 13.KM noted this a couple of weeks back and has us taking him for our 53 pick ( after academy alterations). Would love this to eventuate with Scharenberg netted by the AFC for our 43.
I'd be happy enough with either but for sure Lipinski has the most upside. If both Scharenberg and Lipinski are available at 43, who would the people of BF prefer?
I'd feel torn personally, would be happy with whichever but there is no guarantee we'd get both. Maybe leaning toward Shaz as no go home risk and was potential top 10 last year.
Lipinksi feels very Hugh Greenwood like Imo, in his build and the way he plays.
Lipinski for sure - more upside and can take an overhead mark up forwardIf both Scharenberg and Lipinski are available at 43, who would the people of BF prefer?

Probably Lipinski. Much higher upside. Has forward ability, great overhead, clean in traffic and effective in the coalface. Good endurance. If both Scharenberg and Lipinski are available at 43, who would the people of BF prefer?

So what's the knock?Probably Lipinski. Much higher upside. Has forward ability, great overhead, clean in traffic and effective in the coalface. Good endurance.
Raw. Decent kick, but by no means great. Average speed. Could tackle more.So what's the knock?
