Champion. When I was watching him in the 2018 SANFL GF, I just knew Port had to pick him up. Please keep up this form for the rest of the season and challenge Walsh for the title at the end of the year.

The heart-stopping, pants-dropping, house-rocking, earth-quaking, booty-shaking, mark-taking, love-making, goal-kicking, scoreboard-ticking Connor Roz E Street Band ;)

Showed forward craft that imo he was lacking in the champs last year, he is also carrying around bugger all body fat

At the Member's Convention the fitness team talked about the amount of work he did to turn his endurance from so so into AFL high level.

Been a Rozee fan since I saw him for the first time in the SANFL GF.

This thread makes some good reading:

Given the Kings and Luko are talls and Rankine is out for a chunk, Rozees in this rising star battle up to his eyeballs ..... even though he doesn’t seem the type that would care.

Montgomery discusses Connor Rozee’s game:

“I don’t think anyone - you guys included - were surprised. It’s been coming. We know the obvious talents.

“I think one thing he has done that he hasn’t had a lot of credit for is how super clean he has been when it’s either been wet or dewy.

“He’s probably looked at another level in that part of the game.

“Our players found it pretty tough up at the Gabba for ball-handling. He didn’t.

“He had a four-quarter performance this week that was off the charts.

“Quality of touch, timing - we’ve been pretty happy with his eight or nine-possession games to date, just for his involvements.

“He’s a really smart player who takes a lot of work to defend which can obviously create opportunity for others.”

CONNOR ROZEE’S performance in Round 3 against Brisbane earned him a rising star nomination but it also earned him high praise from the boys on Fox Footy’s On the Couch.

Speaking during their weekly show, Garry Lyon and Jonathan Brown described Rozee’s game as one of the best they had seen from a first-year player.

While former Sydney and Melbourne coach Paul Roos said it was “so exciting” to see it live.

“I was there live. What a great game and the thing about him was it was in big moments in the game where he got vertical,” Roos said.
