Fairly solid late pick. Will be one of those good, average players (not in an offensive way) that notches 50-100 games and does everything to a good, consistent level. Seems like he will be coaches favourite, works hard and follows the teams rules.

There are some others that may have been worth a punt here but he is still a great pick.

I know this lad and his parents. Really, really pleased for him. Great kid. Hard worker. Competitive. He will leave nothing to chance.

Little piece of trivia. His dad played in the NRL and is about 6'5. His mum is about 5'2. Genetics!

Get him to 100 games and hope Dad has strong genes.
