How could anyone not want him wearing navy blue after watching that?

How could he possibly still be on the board when our pick comes around?

From the media reports, looks like Serong is locked in unless another team comes with a good trade. Personally, can't say I'm sold on him just yet. Appears to be a bit short for the modern game. Young or Kemp would be preferable to me, based on my uneducated opinion.

Young is as close a thing to Whitfield as you’ll find. Probably the most sure bet to become a jet outside of Rowell. Don’t think he lasts to 9.

Happy with Serong as the rumours suggest, although I can’t help but feel SOS might have something up his sleeve yet. Might involve our future first. I just can’t see him bowing out with the 1 top 40 selection.

Yup agree with you, don't see it happening . I'd be very happy with Serong or Stephens.
Either youngster in addition to Stocker makes for a mighty good outcome.

Just spent a good two hours watching footage of Serong and I'm sold. Still have a preference for Stephens as I believe he's a greater need, but will be very happy if we leave Wednesday night with Serong.

Young is too much of a 'reach' to take at pick 9/10 imho.

We need someone who can have an impact straight away, Kemp or Flanders would be ideal, but they won't be there at our pick.

Would be pretty happy with Serong myself, love lads that are competitive beasts. He definitely would be a safe bet selection and am am comfortable with that

1. Def use pick #9 on Ash, Stephens or Young
2. Maybe on Kemp - depends on injury assessment by our club

Would seem likely. Either way, would be happy with Stephens or a trade.

Would give us really good running power in the midfield alongside O'brien and Walsh.

Yep. Both feet too which is unusual for a leftie. Not as ‘amaxing’ as people say. Just a nice reliable kick. Doesn’t make stupid errors. Isn’t massively penetrating with it or anything.
