Not really, there is no real standout and whichever player we get by this time tomorrow they will be a future champion (hell even those taken in the 70's are written up as guns) so what difference does it make? Especially when it will be very difficult for them to break into the team in 2020.

..In all seriousness, nothings for certain in the draft. For every Sam Walsh there's a Jack Watts. Personally, my enjoyment comes from watching them grow (or flounder) at the NB's with my stash of Preston Market donuts and seeing if they 'have what it takes'.

Because it's exciting, Macca. The presents are still under the tree. Could be socks, could be an iPad, who knows! Right now we're shaking them and trying to guess who got what, we'll probably be wrong but it's all part of the tradition.
Not unhappy, just not fussed if we get Serong, Stephens, Roberton, Kemp or any of the other names linked to us. Part of the excitement is the fear of missing out - I don't have that this year, whichever player we get will be fine and none will have a massive immediate impact. More like Stocker of 2019 than Walsh.Early night coming up for Macca.

Last year I was excited because we were going to get the best present possible who was an absolute gun that we desperately needed. This year we are going to get a very good present that we don't need half as much as we did last year.
