Thats half the fun!!
Not really, there is no real standout and whichever player we get by this time tomorrow they will be a future champion (hell even those taken in the 70's are written up as guns) so what difference does it make? Especially when it will be very difficult for them to break into the team in 2020.

Early night coming up for Macca.

Cheer up bud :) It's like Christmas for us here.

You must be a hoot at parties!! 😆..

In all seriousness, nothings for certain in the draft. For every Sam Walsh there's a Jack Watts. Personally, my enjoyment comes from watching them grow (or flounder) at the NB's with my stash of Preston Market donuts and seeing if they 'have what it takes'.
Draft position is irrelevant.

Exactly so why get so wound up about who we might get tonight?

Not unhappy, just not fussed if we get Serong, Stephens, Roberton, Kemp or any of the other names linked to us. Part of the excitement is the fear of missing out - I don't have that this year, whichever player we get will be fine and none will have a massive immediate impact. More like Stocker of 2019 than Walsh.

"Could be socks, could be an iPad, who knows!" That's my point, they are all the same. If we get Serong I will be happy, if we take Stephens I will be happy (etc) there is no dud present or top shelf surprise - just a whole pile of the same very good present.

And yet you were excited about last year when there was zero chance of missing out?

Come on Macca, join the party! Draft night, live trading, Young is an outside chance when he was locked in at 3 for the last few months, then we get to back it up with some late picks tomorrow and Martin-Day on Friday. It's a great time to be on BF.

But I knew it was going to be an ipad.

Last year I was excited because we were going to get the best present possible who was an absolute gun that we desperately needed. This year we are going to get a very good present that we don't need half as much as we did last year.

We're going in circles, Macca. Get happy, bud! Don't care how, just come along for the ride!
Only becuase you are missing the point.

Happy is less than excited.

I was excited about the prospect of getting a super talent like Walsh and the impact he could have on our team last year. This draft who knows who we are going to get.
no-one - that's half the excitement for mine......

Still all for sliding back with Geelong/GC. Need the Crows to pick up Stephens to make it work. Take Robertson the slider at 14/15 and best available at 20/24.

Or do a deal with Port if Stephens is still on the board for 12 + extras.

Just can’t see SOS going out without a bang. Exciting night ahead.

Broadcast starts around 6 I think, probably 7:30 by the time picks start happening.

On Foxtel, and streaming on the AFL website/app. Not on Kayo.

Certainly on Kayo.... I will be watching it that way..
