If Green, McHenry and Maguiness get bid where Twomey said they would be, then that wipes out picks 40,59,60 for Green, 49,58,66 for McHenry and 42,50,54 for Maguiness, which would mean;

52 becomes - 4 picks eliminated (40,42,49,50) and 3 new ones created = 51
55 becomes - 5 picks eliminated (40,42,49,50,52) and 3 new ones created = 53
65 becomes - 8 picks eliminated (40,42,49,50,52,58,59,60) and 3 new ones created = 60

That is 273+233+146 pts = 652 pts. With the 197 pts discount takes us to 849 pts which means we would have enough pts if a bid from Mead came as high as pick 22 = 845 pts to be 4pts carried forward to future drafts.

So given the Green and McHenry bids will push 12,16 and 18 to 14,18 and 20 then we will almost certainly get Mead for free as Richmond's 19 becomes 21 and they haven't been linked to Mead at all. ,

If a bid for Mead is made before Maguiness, it will probably be a deficit. How much? Can't be stuffed working out those scenarios at the moment.

Next year when we have pick 10 again, we should trade Wines + 10 for 16 + 18. Then trade 16 + 18 for pick 10.
