Can we do anything else to assist in the demise of the Crows and Dogs, or will it be an organic process over the season.
Okaaaay, that was sort of a given. Hence the ‘else’ part of the question. Thanks for playing thoughBeat them?
Crows will be fine, dogs on the other hand....
I don't want to see any of those 4 be put on the table. Especially Marchbank.one of mckay, mcreadie, wietering, marchbank? cant see us trading a mid or curnow.
not sure anyone else has enough value to be worth losing.

Unless you're getting godfather offers, ie way overs, then there's no point in getting rid of good players who fit into our 'list within a list' age demographic and realistically all 4 should be entrenched in the 22 within the next year or so.
Weitering seems to start kind of slow but should be aiming to be a top 10 player on our list this year, Marchy should probably be aiming to be top 5 considering his current form.
I still have faith in McKay, he'll need some more time, and we know Macreadie can play at the level but he's going to have to work his way in to a back half that bats reasonably deep. Ideally he can add some more strings to his bow in the VFL while he's trying to make the 1s; get some time playing wing, a bit forward and even pinch hit in the ruck occasionally. I really like the idea of him being a utility player, kind of in the Blicavs mold (I think it's Arr0w who's been suggesting this?...)
the question was who has value for an early pick, not who do i think we should trade. we have a small surplus of young talls, if we really need to get an extra pick to improve our net position it'll be one of them - the alternatives are dow, sps, cripps, i doubt anyone else would have enough currency.
Yeah, that's what we should do... trade out our all-australians...I would think that if Jones has an All Australian year we could trade him to say a Collingwood who don’t have a fullback.
It would hurt us a bit, but we can cover him fairly easily.
And in my opinion he could help a team more than Gibbs could, with his power at full back.

Dogs have pretty much lost their Premiership forward line.Annoyingly, I think the dogs will be ok this year (5th-8th). I think whoever faced up to GWS in round 1 would have been torched.
Wallace can cover Libba. They have two fwd talls to work with and a nice group of mids/runners. They have extricated a toxic stringer.
Will bounce back this weekend and smash the Eagles.
Expect Adelaide to slide a little, not a lot.

Stringer - gone
Boyd -can't get a game
Picket - Long term concussion
Smith - can't get a game/lost form
Dickson - can't get a game/lost form
Who kicks their goals now. They have to play their best midfielder as a KPF so the midfield lacks class.
Tough choice tonight, death riding the Crows means a Richmond win.
