You can't be suggesting that we take a risk on a player who has a court case hanging over his head that might see him in jail.

Sure, he's not guilty yet but there is that possibility hanging over his head that literally no other player in the PSD currently has.

Guilty or innocent, we will not pick him up simply for the fact that he is not good enough. End if story.

On the contrary I believe he is good enough. The trouble with Andy Krakouer is that AFL teams nowadays only play one small crumbing type player like him deep in the forward line.

As it turns out he didn't fit into Richmonds structure and I believe Pettifer will now fill that role. Andy could quite easily slot into another AFL side who is lacking a player of that specialty.

But after being informed of his court issues he will unfortunately fade away in the VFL leagues for the rest of his career. However long that is

I would be looking at Clayton Collard very closely - probably in the national draft (if he opts for it) - there's no question he has the talent, he is still 18yo (19 in Dec), he has what we lack (speed, xfactor etc), was widely rated as a 1st rounder last year and Mal Brown said he was the best indigenous talent to come from his club (inc Matera, Rioli etc).

He obviously has problems of ??? (it sounds like he had trouble fitting into life there??) , however, i'm wondering if people like McLeod in particular (and Johncock) could be his mentor and take him under their wing, then perhaps those problems can be overcome - and we get ourselves a good player talented in the areas we are lacking.

first off, we probably wont be picking a crows player. If craigy wanted some fo the older guys still at the club he would have kept them.

There could be an exception, if one fo the guys like matty bode trains on witht he squad and does really well and proves that he can stay injury free through the first part fo the pre-season.

As for other players - its quite likely. all depends on whats available.
