I would put Clement in Pickens place.
Loved Billy, but James was a brick wall.
This will sound like sacrilege to many, but I certainly don't have Millane as an 'unmoveable lock' in this team.
I absolutely loved him as a player, but as a lock in the centreline of our all time team is too much for me. He was only half way through his career and could well have gone on to cement such a lofty evaluation, but I would certainly have Buckley, Pendlebury and also Swan ahead of Pants as a starting mid from my time watching. Of course, he was a classic wingman where those others were all more centres and ruck rovers so he does have that advantage.
Here's the all time team.

Tohill over Cloke is a big call.
2011 Cloke would kill it in 2020. Provided an awesome contest that would bring it to ground more consistently than anyone around at the moment. Plus gut running up to the wings and half back to give us an outlet out of defence. Noone takes many grabs within 30 these days - so his big weakness of shanking sitters would be diminished. Plus they would have given up trying to teach him to run in straight and kick a drop punt and he may have succeeded kicking across his body. Tom Lynch has him covered for kicking, but Cloke was better than him at everything else.Cloke wouldn't be able to make it in the modern 2020 game.
Clement was a great player for Collingwood, but I am completely bewildered by your thinking in replacing Picken with him.I would put Clement in Pickens place.

Nah, great player, but we’re talking best ever. Don’t forget stats lie.Gavin Crosisca. Check his stats. One of the greats and a better half back Buckley ever was.
Crosisca also a premiership player.Nah, great player, but we’re talking best ever. Don’t forget stats lie.
Crosisca was solid, but not even close to being worthy of best team anywhere.Nah, great player, but we’re talking best ever. Don’t forget stats lie.
Crosisca is one of my favourites, but he wasn’t even the best defender in that team, I’d have Shane morwood ahead of him.Crosisca was solid, but not even close to being worthy of best team anywhere.
I agree, Millane drops out. I mean no disrespect to him, but I think he is evaluated more these days for what he may have become, not what he was. And probably romanticised a little bit because of his death. This will sound like sacrilege to many, but I certainly don't have Millane as an 'unmoveable lock' in this team.

Agree that Pendles is the only lock to come in. I would probably put Swan in as well but as much as I love Clement I couldn't find a place for him. He'd be exactly the type of selection that in decades to come future supporters would ask why he was in there, much the same as we're now saying about the likes of Rumney and Whelan.
He is an absolute lock, make no mistake about it. He adds a certain quality that none other possess.I agree, Millane drops out. Pendles in, Swan in. Clement I can make a case to get in there as well, because he is the best versatile defender I've seen play for Collingwood and haven't seen the likes of Rumney, etc.
Talks of Didak getting in there are way off in my view.
