I reckon we need more Francou like "grunt" in the midfield.
I reckon Matt Priddis could part fill this role - wins heaps of the pill and a big engine (Downside is he is not overly quick). Would come cheap too.

The teams that try to buy premierships invariable fail. Go with the kids.
There are certainly four kids at East Freo who you would be more than happy to draft at our No 10 spot: Ryder, Kennedy, Clarke and Swallow. All may go top 10.
Clarke was talked about as a possible No 1 choice before the 18's carnival. Now Ryder is likely to be the first WA boy chosen.
That said, Peel and Claremont played off in the second semi so they are not short on talent either.

You know Dean Cox was a project player. No one knew what he could do unitl they gave him a run of 10 games or more. Now he's touted as AA. Rookie list some project players, particularly ruckman because they do take a while to come on. Rookies are relatively cheap.

We know what a player like Bandy could do. He would chew up 100K of TPP, and would never ever offer anything except entertainment value -- for the opposition.
That sounds like a good plan. Rookie list a couple of kids around the 200cm mark (preferably locals) and see what they can do in a couple of years time. You can never have too many ruckmen on your list because they are prone to injury, and are always valuable at trade time. Unfortunately it's likely that Sandi or JLo will miss atleast a month of footy in the next 3 or 4 years so someone who is a genuine ruckman needs to be able to come in.
