how has it been allowed to happen

im assuming it’s because they both have to makeup a week due to everyone else played in nsw during lockdown 4 but their game didn’t/couldn’t go ahead.

I’m not saying I agree with it but probably no other way to do it unless you put a bye between the finals and allow them to play the makeup game.

So are games being played in NSW allowed Crowds this weekend? With Vic's allowed to attend?

Amazing the difference in the two States. Who is hosting games in NSW this weekend? They should stand to get a few there.

Neighbours - Mathoura v Deni Rovers ( Mathoura indigenous game)

Tocumwal v Katunga
&

3rd placed Tungamah v 6th placed Jerilderie @Berrigan ( currently 1 game between them )

Couldn't your fellas play in another local shire if Berrigan Shire says no? "The Roar Is Back"
Richard Head of Berrigan County kindly rang them all telling them probably not a good idea to have Jerilderie play footy & nettball in their jurisdiction
weak as dog 💩
The good citizens of Jtown can conduct business in Finley, Berrigan , shop buy a coffee , visit RMS, kids attend High School but can’t play sport.
bewildering to say the least.

Yer you would have thought the businesses that had people calling in spending a bit of money would have enjoyed having the game in town ( even it it was only a bit extra) plus just would have been a decent thing to allow the game to be held there.

Can also seemingly attend and play games of football and netball against NSW and/or Victorian sides , provided it isn’t in a Jerilderie jumper or skirt and the club called Jerilderie .

Anyone is NSW can attend NSW games as a spectator up to 5000 people or 1 every 4 square mtrs
All good well having crowds attended games an that but doesn’t help when in general by the looks of photos on social media that it doesn’t seem to be many clubs following the vic COVIDSafe rules anyway ??? Seems to be a lot of extra volunteers at games an not alot of mask wearing in public specially at the game I attended as a parent on the weekend!! Very disappointed an no wonder the season is up in air again .

There is a big difference between clubs not following Covidsafe rules and individuals not complying if that were the case .
I think you’ll find individuals not being compliant is a reflection of the broader community and shouldn’t be lumped on clubs as not doing the right thing, if that is what has occurred .
If someone hasn’t been wearing a mask when they should have it is no doubt the wrong thing to do , but lumbering lockdowns or potential lockdowns upon someone / people not wearing masks is stretching it IMO . Governments rightfully appear to be looking at spread risk when considering lockdowns rather than using lockdowns to force compliance .
