How does umpiring have nothing to do with affiliation. Doesnt affiliation give us access to the GV umpires again?

Use all the 'allegedly around' statistics that you want but clubs are seeing the loss of tallented juniors due to the perception that there will be no access to pathways in the pdfnl. So yes! It is in clubs best interests.

Its obvious from your tone that you are still dead against affilliation due to personal bias.

It’s time you and your narcissistic god complex were gone.
Time you give up and admit you have been wrong on multiple occasions .
Your ongoing efforts to use ‘ affiliation ‘ as a means to settle a score have proven miserable at best .
Clubs have been losing talented kids on the perception of playing elsewhere is better for their football , long before the over arching affiliation agreement was introduced in 2018 .
League last night announced nearly $1 mill of collective annual operating profit , since the league was told it was the least financial league in the state and would be broke and non existent, if it didn’t sign over its administration .

  • all things the draw . I wouldn’t think it would pose an issue to retain 16 games which appears the perfect fit . If 16 clubs that would mean play everyone once and 1 side twice .

A 16-club one-division comp could have a very simple fixture.

Play each other once in a 16-round fixture with the other round being either a rivalry round or fixture it as per the previous year's ladder (1v2, 3v4, etc.) with none of the bollocks that goes on in the AFL with imbalanced fixturing.

Or throw in a wildcard finals round the week before the finals 🤦‍♂️🤣

Spoken to a few barooga people over the last week or so and although its a small sample size its seems about 50/50 support for the move to picola league. The vote will be interesting next week.

I wonder what their constitution says the split has to be, most are 75% have to vote to leave.

I think you'll find that two divisions can be created once a 17th club is admitted.
What’s the difference between splitting at 16 to 17?
1 league will still have 8, like the old SE division did.
Why couldn’t the split be made at 16?

Personally I think 18 is the best figure. 9 each league and play every one twice for 16 games.

Clubs vote majority no, then PDFNL board let them in.
Clubs will rightfully give their opinion of what they believe to be in their clubs best interest .
The board will consider the view of clubs and then make a decision in the best interests of the league .

On another note in ref to ground sizes Im aware of the Deni Rams oval and its size but the other day someone said the Deni Rovers ground is even bigger ,,,is this correct

Dont the board act on the best interests of the clubs. I thought the clubs would vote and the board act on the favourable motion.

I think the area inside the fence would be similar but the rovers ground has the boundary in a fair way because of a slope from the fence so id say playing area the Rams ground is bigger. certainly felt that way back in the day running "400's" that apparently are more like "510's"

Will the boards decision be on the night, or information taken away to process and a decision made??
