I am told clubs will provide 'feedback' to the league. The club 'feedback' will likely be nuanced and non-committal and not be or be interpreted by the league to be a definitive "Yes" or "No" as would be in a democratic style vote of clubs. This type of ambiguous, non definitive feedback will allow the league to make a decision in the "best interests" of the LEAGUE and not necessarily the majority of clubs. This IMO is by design. A vote of all clubs with a 51% or above majority should be the approach to allowing a new club to enter the league after presenting their case to the league board and clubs. Terms of reference should be defined so as all clubs applying are assessed equally. Such things as population/proximity to large population. junior numbers, financial situation, historical success in both football and netball should all be defined in the terms of reference IMO.
