Must in game for the Berrigan saints this weekend if they want any chance of taking that 2nd chance, the saints have been poor i think over the last couple of weeks and need to get some consistancey back in there game coming up to finals. Whats everyones throught on berrigan? the real deal come finals or not ?
Definitely think that Strathy and Mathoura (even though they beat them) are ahead of Berrigan. Only my opinion, but it is based on playing against these sides. Strathy could be dangerous on their day and are peaking at the right time.
So what do you think the top 5 will end up like ? berrigan play strathy in 2 weeks whoever wins that will have a great finals run.

I think Sanderson from Jerilderie will poll well, as long as Purcell and Co dont take to many 3 voters off him. Bode, May, Germano, Fitzpatrick will also steal votes of each other from the Rovers. Whilst the Way brothers from Berrigan should attract attention seeing they make Manute Bol look like a ruck rover. Will be a close count i reckon.

After Saturday,I believe Jerilderie are definately the team to beat.They were wanted to win,came to play and were simply too good.We have two weeks to get it right,which i think we can but we have to get back to playing quick, running footy.The last few weeks we have gone for height and it is not working out,so back to the drawing board,get some pace back and see what happens

Jerilderie are looking good Deni will have there work cut out for them keeping up in the middle and Purcell is a man mountain (very mobile) and the full forward has a very strong set of hands. Should be a good finals series i think these two sides are a bit ahead of the others but the other 3 on there day can all cause an upset.

yeah we were lucky to beat shepp east the other week, im pretty sure they only had out there ruckman aswell, tunga still have about 6 out i think
Yeah Jerilderie would have to be the form side at the moment, they would have won at least 10 on the trot i would think. What do people think about the second semi being played at Wunghnu?

Im pretty sure shep east had 7 out the day they played tungamah to ( s.ahmet, r.frappell, j.trianidis,t.gillespie, p.davies, d.allen, m.ferrarri) so lets hope the finals series isnt all one sided and someone can knock off the tungamah juggernaught???

Jerilderie V Berrigan @ Jerilderie this weekend, should be a very good weekend for both clubs as either of them havent played finals in a number of years, so both will be ready to go.

I think Jerilderie @ Jerilderie will be too good for Berrigan - Jerilderie have been underrated by a few people this year I reckon.
There seems to be a few home ground advantages in the finals in both Leagues.
I think the Second semi in the SE is @ Tungamah as well.
Are these finals venues decided at the start of the year?
Katandra don't get much of a advantage for finishing second!
Should any team get a home ground advantage in the finals? or should all games with the senior side in it be switched to a neutral venue?
I think the SE is obviously between the top 3 sides and believe any of them could win. Hopefully we get a good finals series. Good Luck too all.

Jerilderie at home are a tough ask. They play the ground very well i think they will get home by about 5 goals

It has happened a few times in the past. The PDFL set the venues mid season and that's it. I have played a home final before and didn't complain then
. Perhaps in future clubs hosting finals can be notified of the weekend they will be hosting and it can be switched (Sat & Sun hosts) if it clashes with the Senior game.
So the first week of the finals could look like:
Katandra V Shepp East @ Katunga
Dookie V Waaia @ Shepp East
Jerilderie V Berrigan @ Picola
Mathoura V Strathy @ Jerilderie
The only games that would be a bit hard to manage would be the Prelim and GF.
